News:

All you can say in this site's defence is that it, rather than reality, occupies the warped minds of some of the planet's most twisted people; gods know what they would get up to if it wasn't here.  In these arguably insane times, any lessening or attenuation of madness is maybe something to be thankful for.

Imp Ending the Pending

So the folks behind Fallen London, a text based game full of hijinks and waiting-ten-minutes-for-your-energy-to-recharge have released StoryNexus.

It's a tool set to create text based browser games. When hearing the news, I immediately flashed back to the gamebook wiki--that I'm PRETTY SURE was a real thing and not in my imagination--that was (maybe) on the Black Iron Prison. But I can't seem to find it, so balls.

So there once was an interactive fiction story around here, and now there's a tool to make interactive fiction.

I'm going to check it out in the next few days, but I figured some folks here might be interested.

If you haven't played Fallen London, check it out. It's got a very interesting game mechanic to it, and allows for ludicrously dynamic branching stories.

Cheers.
