This was just on the local news.  Apparently Maine, according to US census data, has become the second state (West Virginia was first) in the U.S. where deaths are exceeding births.


Of course with the Boomers becoming old farts this trend will eventually be pretty much everywhere within the next decade.

It probably doesn't help that everyone moves away in their 20s, before they have kids.
