Late twenties or early thirties I was on a big rhythms and cycles trip. Discipline body and mind to it. My work shirts were coloured for every day of the week. Monday was deep purple for me, though. Can't remember if that came from qbl or something else now. Long time ago.

Loving your insane shading/texturing as usual!

I'm up to my arse in Brexit Numpties, but I want more.  Target-rich environments are the new sexy.

That's really cool! Did it produce noticeable results? Kinda similarly, I've been really into painting each room in the house a distinct color so as to encode a kind of personality in each space. The effect is subtle and certainly psychosomatic, but I enjoy it!

Was part of a wider regime I subjected myself to at the time. Yeah, I definitely think it made it's own little contribution to the - build a better P3nT - project.

I'd noticed  :ninja:

I love the idea that one of the big features of the renaissance was hiding occult symbolism within papal commissions. Is my favourite thing about the occult - is hidden. In plain sight. :fnord: A lot of your stuff reminds me of tarot cards. Speaks to that level of archetypal this, that and the next thing

Absolutely! It's interesting seeing stuff by occult artists like Alan Moore & Grant Morrison seep more and more into mainstream pop culture. Not so much hiding in plain sight, but kinda rather stepping into the spotlight. What happens when the hidden becomes seen with increasing regularity? Probably just the metaphors of the occult changes and a new mythology emerges, but shucks, there shd be some illuminating side effects to that kind of cultural paradigm shift I wd hope  :fnord:

Ha! That was pretty much exactly my younger son's reaction!  But I was able to get him w/ but a single level of abstraction, bc it really is kinda fascinating, in a world this weird & wild, how some people can be so gd dull & boring  :fnord: :fnord: :fnord:

It's a James Joyce bit, Ulysses as an everyman on the way to the store for breakfast meats.
