how long before "i know deep down hes a good person" turn into being a codependent and an enabler?

Lot's of people are good people, superficially and deep down. You don't have to dig through tons of shit to enjoy them so fuck the deep downs, life is too short.

This is harder for some people to do, especially if it's family. I got lucky. My family split up and I got pressured to pick a side. "Waitaminute, I get to fucking choose?" I thought, "Awesome! Both of you, go fuck yourselves." Felt much better after that.

Nowadays, if someone is a good person, deep down, that's where I bury the fucker. 

Yeah man, if they happened to act like dicks in a given circumstance, they either did really mean it, or they will apologize in due manner after they realize what they done.

We mostly have actions to make accurate judgements, because talk is cheap, and what is going on in their heads is a black-box we dont have access to.
