Industry-wise, he IS the target.

I'm trying to find any evidence of this at all. Can you share your sources? Everything I'm seeing says that under-25 is the biggest spending demographic for pop music.
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

It is, that is exactly who she's going after, and they'll eat it up, whether it is good or not. Pop music has worked that way for ages.

I had something, earlier.  Let me see if I can find it again.

"Billy, when I say that ethics is our number one priority and safety is also our number one priority, you should take that to mean exactly what I said. Also quality. That's our number one priority as well. Don't look at me that way, you're in the corporate world now and this is how it works."

And her being exactly the same as all other pop acts explains perfectly why everybody is so freaked out and pissed off about her. Nothing to see here, folks. Right?

People were pissed off and freaked out when Madonna hit the scene.  They were pissed off and freaked out with Britney Spears, Christine Aguilera, Katy Perry.

At least Madonna, Christine, and Katy have som passable talent.

In My Opinion, Miley is a big budget AKK.

After seeing the classy way you've ignored Coyote, RWHN, I'm sure your opinion will be given all the consideration it merits.

Jesus, that is triggering some ptsd.

Gonna lay down now.

I know this was a bit ago, but. What the fucking hell is fucking wrong with you that you think it is ok to make light of ptsd while making it fucking abundantly clear you are some fucking saint who had to suffer through Hannah Montana and just much to fucking smart and clever and aware and cultured that you have to mock Miley Cyrus for producing anything that you for some fucking reason find offensive.

Also, fuck you fuck you fuck you.

Using ptsd as some fucking part of some really shitty joke or whatever the fuck you were trying to do is really fucking shitty. Not that anyone really expects better of you at this moment in fucking time. Comparing some mild annoyance to having ptsd is exactly like those fucking assholes that think it's cool or zany or enlightening to pretend to have some mental illness.

This is an amazing rant: Ann Magnuson (Bongwater, et al) writes an open letter to an open letter.

Also, Miley is on SNL tonight.  Should be interesting.

Funny thing is, the last time a pop artist made this much of a stir, it was Sinead O'Connor, ripping up the picture of the pope on SNL.

I have a feeling this is just STARTING to get good.

My jaw is dropped. That was MAGNIFICENT.

I'm really confused about whom she is calling out. Or what she is actually saying. This is like American Poetry class all over again.
