I was walking back from the school this morning and saw what looked like a bird corpse on the pavement. It turned out to be a little city tumbleweed of fuzz, leaf fragments, string, and sticks, but for a few brief moments there I was sad for that bird that never existed. I don't know if I quite caught all the feels in this, but it's close to what I wanted.

You ever done a gallery show? Get some high-quality prints in nice wood frames and your work would definitely fly.

I've never given it any thought. I don't see myself as an artist at all, I just go through phases with different creative things. My mom did it, too. Actually, most of the women that I grew up around do it. Common scadian ailment.

Have you read the gospel of the First Church of GO OUTSIDE? That's how I started the flower project.

Also, I forgot to mention earlier how flattered I am that you like this, Nigel. The things you make are pretty and awesome and your praise means a lot.

I was working this up for a print document and I really liked how it came out! Still same license as the earlier version.

I like this a lot. Your photo had me convinced I was looking at a bird until I read your words. Beautiful.
