Actually, I think the problem is that, while they do have some potential, several pretentious wankers (including some of their parents, some of their music teachers, and possibly some industry shark already) are already telling them how to Do it Right.

Really, I can't put my finger on why holist has a problem with it. I'm guessing it's either

1. He assumes all music done by kids is automatically Kidz Bop

2. He-Man Woman Haters Club. Those are GIRLS singing. About TOURING, not "I love you" or "Wah, wah, I miss you."

3. He's some kind of RWHN who thinks kids should be ruled with an iron fist and not allowed to listen to or perform music by people who alter their consciousness (i.e., most musicians)

4. He's pissed off that he can't do that

or

5. Any one or a combination of the above. IOW, he's a shitheel.

Well, I can't speak for him since he has moderate success with writing music for advertisements, which, admittedly is more fame than I'll ever have, but when I saw Gauchos de Acero for the first time, the oldest one was like, 14, they had all sorts of fucking views for their homemade videos in their bedroom and my thought was "damn. Maybe I should just fucking quit." It's a stupid thought, but also an uncomfortable feeling, because you know that these damn kids are going to shoot well past you well before they're anywhere near your age. I mean fuck, look at that clip again. They're still teenagers and Bruce Fucking Dickinson is playing a shitty small stage with them. Holy shit, where did Bruce come from?
