Just to go to the other end of things, fuck man, how many of these things do you get? I know it's the internet and all, but it's gotta reach a creepy factor after a while - at least with the persistent ones. I mean, every one's a harmless weirdo until, well, they're not. Working at a law office on a busy road, I get my fair share of weirdos of varying degrees of crazy, most of which are pretty harmless seeming, but a recent conversation with one client was creepy enough to make me feel threatened, putting the rest of it in perspective.

Meh, I know it's the internet, you can handle yourself and most of them are probably harmless and/or incapable weirdos, but thinking about it, it can be pretty disturbing

I get about 3 every two months or so, not including repeat "customers".  I usually spam file them, unless they're funny or unless they make overt threats, in which case I take appropriate steps, which usually means I egg them on to greater heights of whackjobbery.

Because I'm just that bored with the world, these days.
