I want to apply.

How much does it cost to apply? I was looking but then I got distracted by science.

This is a fascinating question: Q6: Are you now, or have you ever been a member of, or associated with any racist group or subversive association that espouses the violent overthrow of these United States or any individual State?

"If so, please elaborate"

Which implies a "Yes" is not an automatic fail.

At a guess, I'd expect "no" would the be the auto-fail  :lulz:

This whole situation reminds me too much of the Muenster Anabaptist Rebellion.

Oh gods, you're probably right.

It'll be just like prison. The various gangs and factions that will get set up in the first month will practically ensure carnage.

Seriously, how do we make this happen? It'll replace all "reality" TV shows overnight.

33-200 Dollars. High enough to prevent mass spam applications.

I've had couple of tries and can't submit the form without that final bit. I want to send them all sorts of lunatic applications but I can't bring myself to pay money.

If anyone can find a way around this, there's fun to be had here.

I'm starting to think they aren't really serious about this... it's looking more and more like a scam to bilk po'buckers out of their paychecks.  I have a feeling that somewhere in the legalese there's a bit about any funds going towards this project neither guarantee a result, nor a refund.

If so, "Bob" approved.

I had a quick look over the T+C's and it seems the 30 odd is non refundable under any circumstances because you took someones place in line. You monster.

The 200 odd gets refunded in the event of an unsuitable application.

If anyone actually wants to throw real money at this, there's probably all sorts of headaches to be caused.

The whole thing is designed to appeal to an adolescent militia fantasy. I predict that the number of women who will be in any way interested in this will be minimal, so even if they do get off the ground (which they won't) it will end up being so unbalanced in the male direction that it couldn't last more than a single generation without human trafficking.
