It's stuff like this that seriously makes me consider moving.

But then I think "where to?"  And, more importantly if Europe (or just the UK depending on what happens next week) is going down the shitter and rabid loonies are going to be running around the place, well running away seems like taking the easy option, you know?  Eventually you run out of places to run away to.  And I'm fairly sure it's an ethical obligation, to fight shit-head quasi-fascists.  I mean, it's probably not expressed quite so bluntly, but that's a fairly valid interpretation of the essence of being a good person, I like to think.

Yep. Looks like we are rapidly closing in on a moment in history where you have the perfect mindset and skill set to be one of the men of the moment. Kudos on your course choices - unless you really did want a quiet life, of course. The whole world never had it's nut. It's a planet full of idiotic talking primates and the trend is a population increase. What we're seeing is evidence that the more idiots you put on a planet, the more retarded the overall global situation becomes. Wait'll we hit 10billion. I have a hunch that'll be the tipping point for an Idiocracy-style critical mass.
