Vast oversimplification that contains a kernel of truth but mostly just serves to obscure the very real and systemic problems with our educational system.

Some yahoo yelled at me, saying 'GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH', and I thought, "I'm feeling generous today.  Why not BOTH?"

My initial reaction is that the problem is the parents are pissed at someone in both scenarios.

I assume it's meant to be some kind of commentary on "kids today" and the school system in general but it is quite a pervasive problem through the decades of parents blaming every/any thing for their own failures as parents. The move to blame an external factor is easy, simple and you look and feel good. You didn't fuck up - them/they/it did. Now demand compensation of some kind to make it all OK.

The other problem is that the world has changed substantially from 1969 and the classroom appears equipped in the same manner. Ignoring decades of technology probably won't help the kids grades much either.

The way teachers these day dress is shameful! Look at her sexualized hair and low cut blouse - she's probably wearing a skirt under that desk too, and heels! It's no wonder she can't stand up to the angry man, who's merely trying to teach his boy how you treat women like that.

The people in the second pic didn't comb their hair. And the mom is wearing pants. I think dad might have facial hair.

My thoughts exactly. That and the parents deciding if blaming the kid wasn't working, then blame the teacher! Next up - blaming God.
