I liked how they introduced her, like "her mother died in an insane asylum thinking she was Queen Victoria" and my thought was, I like where I think this is going. I was not disappointed.

I was half-joking.  But...

QuoteOn April 4, 2007, South Park parodied Donohue in the eleventh season episode "Fantastic Easter Special" as a power-hungry official of the Catholic Church who overthrows the Pope and sentences Jesus ("The Jew") to death for going against him and contradicting Catholic belief. In the show, Donohue calls Stan and Kyle "whores," a reference to his description of South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.[original research?][46] Subsequently, Jesus kills Donohue.

Donohue took the episode in good humor, displaying a still from it in his office depicting him wearing the pope's miter. Describing the episode's plot to The New York Times, he said "...they have me overthrow the pope because the pope is a wimp, and then I take over the church and give it some guts. But in the end, Jesus kills me."

The jealousy is palpable.  Papal, too.

The fact that that's how he interprets it is interesting.

I know that I'm totally just seeing psychopaths everywhere because I'm reading about psychopathy, but his reaction to that has a uniquely psychopathic flair.

Careful with that. I'm picturing Sigourney Weaver in Copycat

:lulz:

Reading about psychopaths and sociopaths is a little taxing. My current reading list is pretty bleak and includes a volume on how violence and abuse during pregnancy impacts child development, with lots of case studies. The book I'm reading right now is replete with some really grueling accounts of horrific crimes.

I now understand the distinction between rape/murder and murder/rape, though. So that's something.

Shit going wrong with minds can get really fucking ugly is about as much as I feel the need know about it. Shit going wrong with my particular instance of mind is something I'm compelled to keep a bit more of a handle on but, fortunately, none of that shit involves being psychopathic or sociopathic.

... or maybe they all say that  :tinfoilhat:

Pretty much as a general rule psychopaths don't seem to be capable of ruminating.
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."
