First time seeing the OP:
Based on moderate reading of Korzybski, whom I understand to be the Father of General Semantics, I get the impression that these "General Semanticists" haven't a fucking clue what Korzybski meant by anything he said. As far as I know, Korzybski was not a Solipsist (These nerds appear to be) by any stretch of the imagination, and his explanation of his ideas seemed to go in the exact opposite direction of such conclusions. It appears to me, at this time, that it may be pointless to argue with any modern Semanticist, since they don't seem to understand their own argument, probably.
