She isn't talking to you, Hoops.  She's talking to a perceived audience.

Sad thing is, the GOP might in fact take the senate, due to some retirements of democrats in battleground states.  They still won't have the votes to do shit on their own, but the ability of the senate to put the brakes on shit will be seriously compromised.

And they are more or less successfully making 2014 a single-issue election.
