The point stands, though.  Humans are not designed to operate as single units, even socially.  Problem with THAT, though, is the 8 person rule.

Well, thats the thing... single humans may not be so hot, but big groups of them are worse.

I dunno.  I am a city mouse.  I operate better amongst millions of people.  I know my standard of living is higher this way.

And yeah, problems also magnify, but I think the benefits far outweigh them.

Crowds would be fine, if it weren't for all the people.

Think of it instead as a target-rich environment.
