Those rules discourage investigators from making any such moves before a primary or general election, and, at a minimum, checking with anticorruption prosecutors before doing so.

“Are you telling me that I need to shut down a validly predicated investigation?” Mr. McCabe asked, according to people familiar with the conversation. After a pause, the official replied, “Of course not,” these people said.

For Mr. McCabe’s defenders, the exchange showed how he was stuck between an FBI office eager to pour more resources into a case and Justice Department prosecutors who didn’t think much of the case, one person said. Those people said that following the call, Mr. McCabe reiterated past instructions to FBI agents that they were to keep pursuing the work within the authority they had.

This is a GOLDMINE

IIt is much more basic than seism. Try stupidity. Most low educated people particularly men feel threatened by women who have better jobs, more ambition, more education than they do. They are also more likely to believe in conspiracy theories, guns, and violence since that makes them more of a "man". And they are more likely to vote for Trump. Trump supporters are not the sharpest knives in the drawer.

If I read the article right, Trump's repeatedly indulged anger has aroused the inchoate anti-woman anger that some folks feel regarding all women. And he has aimed it directly at ONE woman. 

Which makes me realize Clinton's amazing strength and stoicism are unique. Who else could have stood up to this monstrously selfish and stupid man? Who else could have dealt with him and won the points, round by round? It's been some fight. Thank you, Hillary. And tomorrow, I will thank you at the Town Hall with my early vote.

I am betting sexism is the man culprit. For some reason a number of men fear strong women. They can't abuse them, without finding that something vitally important to them has been removed by a blunt razor blade in the middle of the night while they were sleeping off drugs and booze. When they do get extremely upset, is when need to be damn careful, because an angry woman will:

Oliver has been clearly anti-trump (not saying he is pro Hilary though), so its entirely likely they asked him to do a sketch on a specific topic. Without knowing the context of what they asked him about that doesn't indicate anything other then they were mooching to attach themselves to any popular figure they could.
