Im thinking the right wing in Europe is gaining power for the same reason it is in America. Because it actually tries to understand people and relate to them and persuade them to its cause. While the left lectures them like misbehaving school children from a position of moral authority they barely had to being with, and that they have spent the past decade or so completely destroying while, again, lecturing people like school children for not recognizing it.
