Im thinking the right wing in Europe is gaining power for the same reason it is in America. Because it actually tries to understand people and relate to them and persuade them to its cause. This is what I would like to see.  An identity crisis which leads the Democrats to reconnect with labor and disconnect from wall street would be really good for them, really good for the country, and might do enough good to even out the bad Trump is going to do.

If he flip flopped so much during the run up to the election, it will be easy to define the things he does wrong as president, . In likelyhood there will be a lot of that. We must now look at this toad objectively, also look at what he gets right because ignoring that could turn the democrats into the tea party.

You're right Faust. I think it's necessary to examine it objectively. I also think that the primary weakness of the actual "nazis" involved in supporting him is in no longer being able to truly DO that with their heads shoved so up his ass.

I think it's time to be stepping BACK to take bearings and not lean "left or right" at all at this time. Mayhap a clearer course can be measured from better skies in good time.
