One of the first things they tell each class of new recruits is to ignore Google comments or other naysayers, and to treat them as "dream stealers". They want to create an "us vs them" mindset early on in their program. The real reason they recruit people is not to add to their sales force, but to make it easier to sell them an insurance policy (to test drive their product, if you will). Based on their annual reports, the typical reps sell 2 1/2 policies per year. However, the typical rep also spends $424/yr paying for online access, marketing materials and training supplies. Based on that alone, a reps commissions won't even cover expenses, but they continue to talk about the $100k incomes of their top 1% earners (who got in years ago). They are the poster child of MLM scams. Over 1.5 million have joined (after paying a sign up fee), then left, since 2009 alone.
