So, this state visit is going well  :lulz:

Undermine May at every chance, recommend the hardest possible brexit, probably wants the UK to leave the WTO, says he supports may but that boris would be a better pm, insult ireland as a passing afterthought not realising were not part of the UK.

On the plus side i hope this runs counter to any future of a boris pm. The tories play an elitist game that trump ignored the rules of.

So far its been less offensive than I thought it would be.

Watching him snivel about the Mayor of London and that the UK lets too many brown people in was kinda funny.

Also, though, Trump will stop any readiness exercise the moment an opponent demands it.

Then completely deny the interview he did with The Sun where he said a trade deal would be almost impossible with the current Brexit plans, despite it being on tape, call it "Fake News", then turn around today and say that a trade deal is totes possible.

Also inadvertantely troll the Leave camp by making them insist that accepting US trade rules is an expression of sovereignty, but accepting EU trade rules is not.

Also also have the Secret Service buzz around London in V-22 Osprey's, creating a shit ton of noise.

This is beginning to look like a trend.

So is this:

QuoteSam Brownback, the U.S. Ambassador for International Religious Freedom, complained to the British ambassador in Washington D.C. about the treatment of an English right-wing activist who is in jail for disrupting a trial, according to three sources familiar with the discussion.

Brownback raised the case of the activist known as Tommy Robinson in a June meeting with Sir Kim Darroch, Britain's Ambassador to the United States, according to a British official and two sources close to the organizers of a pro-Robinson demonstration planned for London on Saturday.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, though he also uses other aliases, is a founder of the English Defense League, which has organized violent demonstrations against Islamic immigrants in the UK in the past decade. More recently, Robinson has branded himself a journalist and campaigner against Islamic extremism, a move that won him contacts with American anti-Muslim activists.

Robinson was arrested in late May outside a courthouse in Leeds, England, while making video recordings about a trial related to child molestation and jailed for 13 months for violating English law limiting publicity during criminal trials.

Brownback raised the jailing of Robinson during a meeting with Darroch that covered a range of "religious freedom issues", the British official confirmed earlier this week.

Brownback told Darroch that if Britain did not treat Robinson more sympathetically, the Trump administration might be compelled to criticize Britain's handling of the case, according to the two sources in contact with organizers of the planned pro-Robinson demonstration.

They fail to explain why being criticized by the Trump administration would be a bad thing. Is "criticize" a euphemism for something else here, like assassination or sabotage?

It puts further political pressure on a government hanging by a thread due to Brexit, and empowers the British far-right at a time when they need to have less of a voice in how the nation is run, not more.

Watch for hijinks on Monday.

House Republicans take first steps to impeach Rod Rosenstein

The only thing new in this newer article is as follows:

"But Speaker Paul Ryan, who has been reluctant to join the conservatives' blistering criticism of Rosenstein, could block the measure."

I, however, would not bet the farm on Lyin' Ryan's reluctance.

It's almost a shame Ron Paul is banned.

Because it would be hilarious to rub it in his face right now re: my suspicions of the DNC hack, the GRU, Wikileaks and Roger Stone

Yeah, but he managed to get banned at scrubgenius, and that takes some doing.

You'd rub his nose in it, and he'd smile and explain that you don't understand the glories of eco-fascism.
