Sessions squealing is fucking hysterical. It's going to be great to watch the cognitive dissonance over the next few months as people start convincing themselves that they've spoken up and tried to stop a whole heap of crazy shit. It's taken close to 2 years of public kickings for him to find his spine so who knows how crazy he might get with it now?

In other news, Rudy  releasing 3 papers "Crime is theft" , "Crime is Liberty" and "Crime is impossible" for the forthcoming Proudhon defence strategy.
Nine naked Men just walking down the road will cause a heap of trouble for all concerned.

If I were Trump, I would never sleep again.  Muppets are after him.  Angry little muppets.

Angry muppets and clockwork elves.

I'm just waiting for the punchline, really.

I'm guessing an end similar to Oswald at the hands of someone he dicked over in the 80's. Because if this goes far enough, everyone will just look very silly indeed and that shall not be tolerated. A quick messy end with a bunch of "Ah, we'll never really know now" sounds like the tidiest outcome that would suit most interests.

I don;t think there's that much deliberately manipulative thought put into it. I think it's more a tinfoil hat thing.

I question this legal strategy where you admit to doing illegal things, but then loudly assert it was not illegal.

It may fool the rubes, but it's going to collapse like a house of cards in any court.

Isn't the most recent SCOTUS pick known for claiming the president can't be charged with a crime?

He is.  But there's nothing to say a President can be charged once he steps down from office.

And to be honest, I find that reading of the law pretty questionable.  The argument is that such immunity is implicit in the Constitution....ie; it's not actually written anywhere.  If the Constitutional framers had wanted such an immunity to exist, they would have said it explicitly, I am sure.
