I'm unreasonably nervous about this but I'm unreasonably nervous about everything anyway so fuck it; I discovered these forums specifically a few years ago and dipped in lurking like a hedge dweller at various times since about 2010 but never joined the forum. From what I've read it's at once hilarious and frightful, well done!

Having first discovered Discordia vaguely through The KLF as a teenager without really understanding what it was all about, then again reading Illuminatus! at college whilst I was supposed to be reading other things, I've found it curious that I've been drawn to this glorious nonsense time and again, usually at times of personal, local or global crisis, so here I am again. I still don't really understand what it's all about.

I have mostly all my own teeth (half a fake one due to a Wine Accident, but you'd never know it to look at me). I'm from N Ireland, the bit of the island that is still owned by the UK, specifically the north-eastern part that looks like a droopy penis; in fact the town where I was born is nestled right in the scrotum.

I hereby confirm that I know absolutely nothing and I hope this communication finds you all ALERT, during this, The Slow Apocalypse.

It's missing the stink of blatant, self-ignorant stupidity for sure.

Ahem.

Hello new person! We are horrible, vicious miscreants and we have buried the bodies where they won't be found. We used to have a Welcome Committee, but that was years ago and the archaeologists aren't entirely sure they weren't a myth. Now some of us put on these weird clothes and Grin at people sometimes.

The traditional thing to say is that the Pool is on the roof, but unfortunately, the Pool is closed due to coronavirus. That doesn't mean you can't go up there, just that by doing so you waive your right to medical treatment.

But if you're thinking that means we have no tourist attractions at all, I have great news for you! There are isolation chambers in the sub-basement! Some of them even have working ventilation. Will you select the right tiny closet to be locked into for at least a year? Only one way to find out!
"I am that worst of all type of criminal...I cannot bring myself to do what you tell me, because you told me."

There's over 100 of us in this meat-suit. You'd think it runs like a ship, but it's more like a hundred and ten angry ghosts having an old-school QuakeWorld tournament, three people desperately trying to make sure the gamers don't go hungry or soil themselves, and the Facilities manager weeping in the corner as the garbage piles high.

Brother Flight Risk

I already have an isolation chamber that I was born into, but it's nice to have a look round some others. Mine is pretty borked, but has half-decent utility and the bars on the window can move a bit but I still can't get out. But I remain chipper!

Ah here, we're operating under the Rule of Vague up North. Is Leo still having you all stand 2km apart, or whatever he's at now? Stormont's response, such as it is, seems to revolve around Social Clapping every Thursday night on our doorsteps. It's turned into a macabre ritual, here's hoping it all works out in lieu of actual proper health service funding and respect for the NHS. Spirit of the Blitz, respect the bunting, all that malarkey.

Saw an interesting map on that Twitter the other day, pretty mental that the entire population of some north-western counties could all have a great day out in Croke Park with a reasonable level of social distancing. Something to look forward to there. Yisser doing well down there in Cork with the oul numbers game. My home county of Down's numbers likely skewed by the fact that Belfast straddles both Down and Antrim. I'm from Down myself but have somehow managed to settle in rural Antrim with a very patient Derry woman.

Hope everyone is managing to cope despite your local administration's efforts.

The social clapping thing is weird, they had an equivalent down here: leave a light in the window for healthcare workers.
Numbers are coming down per day, last few days have been under 100 cases a day so its getting there.
Leo is better as a caretaker Taoiseach then he ever was as the actual one, still no government, and no signs of forming one, and no party wants to be the one to call for an election at this time because whoever asks for it first is going to be destroyed in the polls.
I've never been as far as Antrim or Derry, get up to belfast about once a year for work, beautiful city, or at least the parts around the centre I saw are

You some Socrates groupie or what!? Fite me REEEE  :argh!:

Jk, the pool is on the roof, but we filled it with a slush of antibacterial gel, green tea, banana smoothie, powdered garlic and weed - all the components that facebook posts have told us that prevent the plague from nesting in your body. Im not 100% sure if it works, but at least it helps with enforcing social distancing with its peculiar odor one obtains.
