We've got artists, scientists, scholars, pranksters, publishers, songwriters, and political activists.  We've subjected Discordia to scrutiny, torn it apart, and put it back together. We've written songs about it, we've got a stack of essays, and, to refer back to your quote above, we criticize the hell out of each other.

exit

you fake
you break down and cry
don´t  take that step
for heavens sake

fucked up shell
golden inside
a beautiful hell
we hide

it´s written in the books
but we´re too afraid to read
harvest the trees
but never understand the seed

if fear is a demon
I kiss this monsters face
caress a dead heart
and study an insane race

[burp! now my medulla oblongata is itching... meh]

Cramulus

I like the meter - the second stanza has a cool little jump at the end
