"'Jellyfish' UAP video reveals strange object in Iraq"

As per this article:

"UFO journalist Jeremy Corbell has released footage of what he is calling a "jellyfish" UAP spotted in Iraq in 2018.

NewsNation has not independently verified this footage.

The video was apparently taken at a U.S. joint operations base in Iraq, and according to Corbell, the object is officially designated a UAP — unknown aerial phenomenon — by the Pentagon. The footage was taken with thermographic/forward-looking infrared radar."

I suspect the Pastafarians will be all over this one! It sure looks like the Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM) to me.

"Kentucky Asks Aliens to Visit on Their UFOs in Fun Tourism Campaign: 'Just Don't Eat Us'"

"Lexington scientists and scholars beamed a message to Earth-sized planets 40 light years away"

As per this article:

"A Kentucky tourism board is trying to attract new visitors — extraterrestrial ones — by sending a message to other planets.

The Lexington Convention and Visitors Bureau (VisitLEX) recruited local scientists and scholars to beam the message to outer space using an infrared laser. They targeted any alien lifeforms potentially living on Earth-sized planets orbiting the TRAPPIST-1 star 40 light years away.

The message, which they sent from Kentucky Horse Park with approval from the Federal Aviation Administration, included a coded bitmap image containing clues to the origin and intent of the transmission, an audio recording from blues musician Tee Dee Young and photos of Lexington."

I can't help but wonder if the residences of Roswell, New Mexico will respond to Kentucky's tourism campaign. Will Roswell, or perhaps the state of New Mexico, be tempted to make the potential lifeforms of TRAPPIST-1 a better offer than fast horses, and 101 proof Wild Turkey bourbon?

"Pentagon UFO report says most sightings 'ordinary objects' and phenomena"

As per the article:

"WASHINGTON, March 8 (Reuters) - A Pentagon report on unidentified flying objects said U.S. government investigations since the end of World War Two have found no evidence of extraterrestrial technology and had concluded that most sightings were misidentified ordinary objects and phenomena.

The report released on Friday follows on from a 2022 Pentagon announcement that its then newly formed All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) had not found any evidence to suggest that aliens have visited Earth or crash-landed here."

To the surprise of absolutely no one, this rebuttal to Volume I of the Pentagon's UFO Report didn't take long in coming.

"Pentagon report denies UFOs are aliens. Experts accuse the government of misrepresenting the truth"

"A new report from the Pentagon on unidentified flying objects and unidentified anomalous phenomena has partially confirmed high-profile whistleblower allegations about planned clandestine government programs for the retrieval and reverse-engineering of non-human aircraft via private contractors.

The report has also, however, drawn sharp rebuke among academic skeptics and disclosure advocates after raising more questions and concerns than it answered. Concluding the Department of Defense's investigation into itself, the report from the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office claims to have found "no empirical evidence" of UAP, yet also declassifies the DOD origins and developmental plans for a UAP-related program called Kona Blue, that AARO says never got off the ground.
 
Disclosure advocates have since roundly criticized the report for its alleged lack of scientific rigor and failure to fully disclose firsthand accounts and significant details involving the programs mentioned in the report. Along with the many conspiracy theories out there, UFOs are a popular 'Merican media subject for other reasons. For instance:

"Joe Rogan Suggests UFOs, Drug Use Are in the Bible"

As per this article:

"Joe Rogan discussed whether the Bible depicts UFO sightings and drug use during a recent installment of his popular podcast.

The broadcaster, whose podcast The Joe Rogan Experience is among the world's most listened-to shows, delved into the matter during a discussion with writer, producer and director David Holthouse in an episode released on April 2. Holthouse and Rogan spoke about various UFO sightings over the years, and theorized that they could be evidence of top-secret military projects or alien life forms.

Among the several ideas thrown forward, Rogan also floated the theory that UFOs have always been present on Earth, before pulling up scripture from the Bible's Old Testament Book of Ezekiel, which speaks of an encounter with unknown beings."

And, further along in this article:

"While Ezekiel said that a human-like figure high above the beings was an "appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord," Rogan and Holthouse floated the theory that perhaps this was an hallucinogenic experience.

"I mean to anybody that's done DMT [dimethyltryptamine] or ayahuasca—really tripped on psychedelics—you read that and it feels sort of familiar," Holthouse said. "The glory of God, these visions of these beings.""

And, even further along in his podcast, Rogan theorized that Moses may have been a stoner. So, never let it be said that 'Merican media doesn't cover all of the really important issues.
