In truth, The Walt Disney Company, the owner of ABC, doesn't make much money off of me as it is. Although I loved the original Star Wars Trilogy, I think everything after that sucks rocks. And, having already gotten paid to work on a big, ugly, gray ship carrying 4,200 people, I have no interest in now having to pay to board a kiddy cruise ship carrying 6,700.

I could go on and on about the money I don't spend on Disney. But, the great thing about totally boycotting them is that I don't actually have to do a goddamm thing! Nothing! And, it will cost me even less than I already barely spend.

So, let the boycotting begin!

While not earth shattering, this is still a move in the right direction:

Disney Stars Urge Fans To Cancel Access to Shows, Movies in Kimmel Protest

I don't know much about Corinne Bailey Rae, but I do like her following quotation:

"We live in a capitalist society, so our power as people who consume is significant. I boycott unethical companies and avoid buying stuff made in sweatshops and stuff that will end up in landfills."

I cancelled mine before the price increase, but will be avoiding the theme park and any new film of theirs

I've been meaning to cancel Hulu and Disney+ because I hardly ever watch either of them. I've just been too lazy to do it.

But I've done it now, and in a way that has some kind of meaning. My laziness is finally paying off!

If you're looking for ways to stick it to Disney, you may find this article to be of interest:

This Is The Best Way To Boycott Disney

As per this article:

"... Disney doesn't worry much about overall boycotts.

However, Disney has a four-letter weakness named ESPN. The sports network has massive multibillion-dollar deals with the NCAA for basketball and football, and the NFL, among others.

ESPN is the secret revenue driver for Disney through television provider carriage fees."

Well, that didn't take long at all now, did it?

Jimmy Kimmel's show set to return on Tuesday

And, as per this article:

"This story is developing and will be updated."

So, obviously, we don't know all of the facts yet. But, we do know this one (1) fact: If you threaten a soulless corporation's bottom line, the billionaire oligarchs invested in it will sit up and take notice.

I hope the Resistance 2.0 also realizes that boycotts are powerful weapons.

Oh ... and, I love the sound of MAGAts whining about "cancel culture" in the morning.

This morning, for the first and possibly the last time, I went out of my way to find out what the POSOTUS had to say about Jimmy Kimmel's upcoming, triumphant return tonight. And, to my surprise, at the time of this posting, I found nothing, not even photos of ketchup stains on the wall. And, I do admit, I am disappointed.

But, I did see some nonsense about Antifa. So, at least, there's that.
