Abbot Mythos

Not long ago, I hesitated to start this thread. Unfortunately, its time has come.

Words can not describe my disgust that the POSOTUS and his Republicultâ„¢ have once again allowed a foreign war criminal to dictate America's foreign policy. Tuesday, November 3, 2026, can not get here fast enough.

Faust

Iran has a lot of problems, but this is pointless murder of civilians. Firing missles blindly into residential targets and schools killing children isnt going to overthrow the government. Nor will calling on its citizens, they are not armed, trained and have very in the little in the way of of resources to combat their government. Any protests have just led to deaths in the thousands.

This accomplishes nothing.

I don't know where this is going. But, it brings back memories of the Bay of Pigs Invasion, and the Cuban Missile Crisis:

As per this article:

"Tensions with Cuba ratcheted up after Cuban forces this week killed four exiles and wounded six others who sailed into Cuban waters aboard a Florida-registered speedboat and opened fire on a Cuban patrol. Rubio denied it was a U.S. operation and said no U.S. government personnel were involved.

The incident took place as the United States has blocked virtually all oil shipments to the island, increasing pressure on the Communist government. Last month, U.S. forces captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, removing a key Cuban ally from power.

"Rubio has railed against the Cuban government in recent weeks, calling the status quo there unsustainable, and saying Cuba needed to change "dramatically."

Cuban exiles who are largely concentrated in Miami have long dreamed of overthrowing the Cuban government or seeing it fall and have in the past plotted against the government that was established by the late revolutionary leader Fidel Castro.

Trump mentioned the large Cuban community, saying a takeover of Cuba by the U.S. could be "something good ... very positive" for people who had been expelled from the country.

"We have people living here that want to go back to Cuba, and they're very happy with what's going on," he said."

And, I don't remember the Bay of Pigs Invasion, and the Cuban Missile Crisis as being 'friendly' historical events.

The POSOTUS has driven his crazy train off the rails.

USA TODAY did place a disclaimer above this opinion article. Still, this the strongest opinion I've seen published by a MSM outlet against the POSOTUS that I can remember:

"Trump was so flippant about this attack that he oversaw its launch from his Mar-a-Lago golf resort in Florida, apparently deeming his presence in Washington, DC, unnecessary."

As per this article:

"President Donald Trump has dragged America into a war of his choosing, attacking Iran with little public support, zero congressional approval and virtually no public justification. The path forward is unclear, and our self-absorbed leader is already speaking about the loss of American lives with the nonchalance one expects from a small man never held accountable for the consequences of his actions.

Announcing the deaths of four U.S. service members following the attack launched Feb. 28, Trump said in a video posted to social media: "And sadly, there will likely be more before it ends, that's the way it is. Likely be more."

The ease with which that man dismissed present and future casualties was sickening. "That's the way it is," he said. He might as well have added a "Ho-hum," such is his apparent concern for the women and men he has now put in danger for ... what?"

There really is no bottom to how low the POSOTUS and his Republicultâ„¢ will go. But, I find this pushback from a MSM outlet to be encouraging.

Trump threatens to cut off trade with Spain after it disallowed US use of joint bases in Iran war

As per this article:

"Trump said despite Spain's refusal "we could use their base if we want. We could just fly in and use it. Nobody's going to tell us not to use it, but we don't have to."

It is unclear how Trump would cut off trade with Spain, given that Spain is under the umbrella of the European Union. The EU negotiates trade deals on behalf of all 27 member countries."

You can't make this stuff up.

Yes, here's another political site reporting on the euphoria of the Christian Nationalists. As the author of this article referenced the same source materials as the author of your article, there is no real need to read this one. I'm only including this second article to verify that the recent activity of 'Merica's Christian Nationalists has not gone unnoticed:

it looks like trump is getting europe ready for war with russia, that is, wasting as much ammo as possible and making sure europe is not ready when russia makes the move. this way the big winner will be china, not wasting energy on wars now...

Faust

A war with Russia outright in Europe is very unlikely.
Though there is a lot of support for Ukraine in Europe, and Europe needed to present a unified front, there is a lot of sympathy for Russia from Greece, Italy, Hungary, Spain Ireland and Portugal.

But to actually understand that you need to know what is motivating Russia. US interference in Poland, the Radar base and missile placement antagonised them, but they dont have any Colonial goals, what would they gain by invading europe, fuck all, and they wouldnt be able to hold it.

It is true that Eastern Ukrain were largely sympathetic too and culturally "more russian", granted it was mostly because they were propped up by russia economically to support that.

If there were going to be any more land grabs they will be limited to Eastern Latvia which has a similar cultural thing going on.

never looked at it that way. if russia were to large, it could not sustain itself. so it isn't really dangerous. I live in Holland. along way from the border, but also too small to hold it's own. maybe his epstien files are a distraction for a bigger plan that was already there. I mean, he looks pretty stupid, still is still there. the ones in charge think it's okay, right?
