Secondly, is it so surprising?  You're probably the most influential poster here.  When you're not happy, nobody is happy, and you know it.  Your opinions and your rants are what gives this place its extra kick in the pants.  So don't talk about being "marginalized" because it's bullshit.  You're as marginalized as the Mormons in SLC.  The only reason you "can't be trusted" is because your desire to be upset at random moments makes you about as safe as a warehouse full of explosives.  I can't speak for everyone, but I know most everyone likes you to some degree, even when you're being an asshat.

As admirable as RB's post may be (in that it actually addressed the rant) it is not aware of all the facts of recent events.  Nor is it my job to mention these, as it was given to me in a PM, which means something to me (namely it was not for public viewing).  Suffice to say, after reading what was happening, I saw fit to move my rants to the POEE, including all new ones.  At least over there we have a hands on, dependable admin and no secret forums for talking smack about "lesser users" with.

what makes you think the secret forum is for talking smack with? i'd be surprised if that was the case. there's one on every forum i've ever moderated in. no scrath that, ever forum i've ever posted on. why doe sit exist?

for the simple reason that something gets modded or or you want to move soemthig out of view as a moderator that may not be appropriate(re adspam) but no t delete it, o rto swap porn url's or naked pics of each other.

I dont think I'm being persecuted.  In fact, I'm pretty certain I'm not, except in that vague way Governments tend to persecute everyone they come into contact with.  I've got enough RL issues to keep me going for years before I need to get involved over the internet.

As for why I think what I do, I can't answer that, as it was part of a PM and so not for public telling, unless the sender consents.

Whether or not the Modz "talk smack" about people or not (lately, we've been talking about the Colts and Tedy Bruschi, if you really must know), how is it any different than what I was doing before I got chosen for Modz, when I was PM-ing people about stuff?

How many of you have used PMs to talk about stuff you didn't want the rest of the board to hear, or thought they wouldn't care about?  Would you feel that mangrove and I are "elite" because we are constantly PM-ing each other regarding Kabbalistsic inside jokes that would probably get threadjacked if we actually posted them?*

Oh, and as far as our evil, fascistic Modz powers:  With the exception of the Day of the Stickies, when was the last time we modded a post, other than me joking around with fnordiscordia and/or Cain?

Fun is fun, but you guys have a few misguided ideas.

Roger seems not to have noticed that the central figure in said drawing is Alfred E. Newman, who is revered more than Kali back in Enrico's homeland.  As is the hitler hairdo.  And, surprisingly, the Charlie Chaplin mustachio.

Three features sure to soften the heart of any Salazorian, and all it has done is anger the Reverend.  Mr. Newman is a figure of fun and wisdom . . . he is not to be sniffed at.
