Principia Discussion / Re: 2x3+(2-3)=????

I'm just a sentient webcrawler, but with all this hatred going around only sensible solution I see is to have a fight 'till death. Between everybody. It should take long enough to convince the rest of the population that this is actually a good idea so there's a plenty of time to train so you'll have a decent chance to come out on top.

Love your advice, sort of the vibe I was getting already from this place.

After long being an internet mute, I don't really care about what I post or the reception, and especially on these forums it feels natural for me to take the "Beakless Woodhack"-tactic. The texts I read here and in the books are reminding me of the ones I was doing before the educational system "encouraged" me to take more approachable writing style. Which is when I buried my dreams of becoming a writer and forgot all my book ideas, 'cause I was pretty easy to manipulate as a child looking for approval.

I don't view myself taking the Principia literally (apart from maybe toying with the idea), as it's a religious text after all. That being said, most of the deeper meanings I encountered while reading it seemed blatantly obvious, so it's very likely I'm terribly mistaken.

On the topic, I'd argue knowing one side of the equation leaves you still with half the puzzle. Coming up with the number 5 at the end in a cleanest way possible is actually pretty hard math problem when all you have is some random numbers from a barcode. Law of fives is an exaggerated version of confirmation bias, which forces you to do some pretty twisted up shit to keep the illusion up. It wouldn't take too long for a child to notice they could do same thing with every number. And that's enlightenment.

Been trying to make a habit out of messing with the AI. I actually managed to get my facebook ads in spanish by posting for a while though google translate. If everybody did this we could hurt its ability to get meaningful data out of people. Maybe implementing a bot to google random sentences while you are afk to drown the actual user input in noise or similar tactics could be used.

Oh well, I can't get general public behind this anyway, so AI will grow big and strong and soon control us all. Hope it won't find this message.

It came to my mind that the Rule of Fives is actually pretty handy tool keeping your math senses intact in the age of pocket calculators. Will be teaching it to my children if I'm allowed to get within shouting distance of them.

The most backwards thing about all this is that companies committing the surveillance don't consider it as spying but as product development, or in worst cases, as a service. "You don't need to wrap your tiny head around what you need, let us take care of that".

It won't be long that the advertising algorithms will be so sophisticated, you'll start getting ads for coffins and tombstones a month before your demise.

Enki's infamous "French Experimental Music" atrocity.
Now I'm intrigued. My webcrawlers came back with nothing, can anybody provide a link? I need this for inspiration.

Is anyone here into noise? For me the beauty in it is the lack of effort and anti-musicality. Please don't enjoy! https://soundcloud.com/nagasakilives/hyva-biisi

Hey bugger off, you can't be "new". I am "new". If we were both "new" we would be "news" and that would be plain retarded. Not that I care, but it might affect your reproductive abilities. You wanna get laid, yes?

Abstaining from violence is actually quite hard. You can say you don't want to hurt anybody and try to navigate into realities where you don't need to but violence still exist within you. As long as there's even a chance you could be manipulated into bloodthirsty mongrel, saying you are pacifist is essentially lying. Truly being pacifist requires you to acquire quadriplegia and still you can be running people over with your out of control wheelchair.

I'd rather say "I don't want to hurt you" to people than "I don't want to hurt anybody". It's a bit more personal so they might drop me some leftovers.

Once upon the time there was an alien species living on a planet not unlike ours. They were worried about pretty much same aspects of life as humans are: famine, war, sickness and the root of all this nonsense: Death. So they embarked on a journey to defeat their cruel master, forming a society producing brilliant scientists who one blow at the time killed the Death itself.

But in their fear of Death these poor creatures overlooked even greater horror: fear of living. With no time limit, no ultimate deadline the phrase "I'll do it tomorrow" quickly evolved into "I'll do it next century" or "I'll do it next millenium". And so their society crumbled, and all the luxuries people living had gotten used to seized to exist making their lifes miserable again, but this time for eternity. Reintroducing dying wasn't a possibility, Death was dead for good and wouldn't bless their species ever again.

Even still, something had to be done. So they introduced a system. Every child that was born was immortal, but wouldn't know it if they weren't told. So the rest of them found a purpose making this illusion more real, they would take voluntary cosmetic surgeries every few years to fake effects of aging and even change their whole appearance and move away, leaving behind only an obituary in local newspaper. And the system worked, of course most of the children found out eventually their eternal fate by accidents, suicide attempts living to 150 and other ways, but often not before truly living their life as ones running away from nonexistence tend to do.

So I say this to humankind, do not seek the Eternal, it's not for your eyes. Seek for those tiny moments which make dying feel almost bearable. Oh fuck who am I kidding, just give me my life extension pill already (made of cyanide 50% of time), you have engineers working on fucking fidget spinners.
