Hey strangers! Long time no see.
They say a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single flying round house kick, then we snatch the keys, steal his car, and get Chinese food.
It was Confuflux, the end of Confusion. It was a Monday in the year of our Lady 3179. I was heating up the leftover Chinese food on the dashboard of the stolen vehicle. Triple Zero sat next to me in the passengers seat, warming his face with a cigarette lighter.
"Trip," I said, "we're lost, bad." The wipers pushed the snow off the windshield, making a eeeky eeky rubber-on-glass noise which made Trip flinch.
"No no no," he said, turning the map upside down, "we're right near.... just after ...." he squinted and turned it over again. "Hey man, this is a chinese food menu."
"That's it, I'm making a ü turn."
"No no no," Trip said, "I think I figured out where we are. This is ... we're in ... one of the lunch combos."
Shaking my head, I screetched the car around, and then made it hop twice, completing the ü. The windshield was covered in snow again. I jumped out of the car, wiped off the snow with my sleeve, and got back in the driver's seat.
We were about six inches from the over-sized welcome sign.

- I've become kind of a game designer at work. They have me working on these shitty games that come on the CD-ROM in the back of these English language textbooks. These games are incredibly boring, like Hangman and Concentration. But they're mine and I love them.
- Going to Amsterdam in two weeks, where I'll visit Trip, Regret, El Sjaako and some other dischoadians
- Then I'm going to Germany to larp at ConQuest (http://www.live-adventure.de/ConQuest_english/start.php). Then we're spending a day in Hanover. In total, two weeks of euro vacation.

I'm a student now, on the President's List, Bridges scholar, and also I have an internship doing public health research on the relative value of cervical cancer messages in narrative form.

That's entirely possible, I eat them raw.
The greens are good raw if you match them with the right flavors. Grassy and slightly bitter wants some acidity to offset it with maybe a touch of sweetness. Adding a pungent soft cheese into the mix is also a good idea. IOW, toss your dandelion greens with some white balsamic vinaigrette and some crumbled bleu cheese.
You can also make dandelion wine, though it's definitely an acquired taste.
If you care about things like this, you want to be especially careful to not eat them if they're growing in places that are sprayed with commercial pesticides.
