When it comes to airport security, Americans have a case of cold feet.
Thirty-seven percent of air travelers rank removing their shoes at the airport as the most dissatisfying aspect of their flying experience, according to a survey conducted for the U.S. Travel Association, a nonprofit oranization hoping to increase travel to and within the United States.
Even amid recent outcries against new security measures, taking off shoes before going through a metal detector ranked more negatively than both pat-down body searches and full body X-ray scanning, according to the survey, which was conducted online by Consensus Research Group and included 1,000 air travelers who have flown in the past two years.

No Phox. They're not. This is like those articles you read about SCIENCE PROVES MEN LIKE BJs, but more of a letdown.
Taking off the shoes is the most annoying thing, IMO. I don't own any loafers or similar sort of shoes, and I hate that they expect you to hustle through and get a move on when your have to grab all your crap and put your shoes back on at the same time.
But the body scanners are the most unjust and despicable thing, OTOH.
You know, whatever happened to those cool chemical-sniffer machines? I dunno if they were effective or anything, but at least they were amusing.

But, those Porno-scanners, and feel ups are rather newish, so it could be that a lot of those people haven't experienced them, and thus didn't rate them highly.

Alright, so I need your full legal name, birth name, maiden name, social security number, grandmother's fourth cousin twice removed's maiden name, oh, and yeah, you need to talk your clothes off.
I wonder what they would do at the TSA if I ran my own CORI information at work and brought it in for them.
It would cost less to just sedate people for the duration of the flight. Get better capacity that way too.

I think I'm going to go back to school for anasthesiology. This sounds lucrative. Or business, so I can start Middle Passage Airlines.
Heck yes. Just have them sign a waiver, charge them peanuts, and off they go. No screening required, no carry-ons, no problem.
