A famous comic book writer.
Some of his more famous works:

From Hell
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (the comic is awesome)
The Watchmen
Swamp Thing (when it was good)

I advice anybody who likes comics to read the Watchmen. By far the single greatest comic I've ever read. By far.

You forgot V for Vendetta.

In addition, he is also an excellent mainstream writer, and songwriter/musician.

Though I have no idea what that question means, I'll try to answer it. The movie was ho-hum and a big misrepresentation of the comic, but Mr. Connery does manage to capture the spirit of the womanizing Alan Quartermain.

1. They cheesed up Mina Harker.
2. They added Dorian Gray just so there could be a silly love interest angle.
3. Tom Sawyer was thrown in, and doesnt make any sense.
4. The comic is dialogue driven and based arround the characters all taking shots at one another, the movie was action driven.

The comic is way better. On the other hand, a good comic to movie translation was From Hell, another Alan Moore joint.

And don't forget Yuggoth Cultures. That's a new one, I think, and quite quite fun.

Thanks, Maxwell,

So sorry you're sick today.
I hate to think of you with the the blues that come with feeling under the weather.
Drink lots of liquids and keep your feet warm, k?

I'm fine, been meditating and reading, walking in the rain.
Miss you guys, I send my love back.
