Does grass grow during the winter?

I think in AZ that's when it does most of it's growth.  Grass needs water to grow, so unless you irrigate the crap out of it it will die in the summer there.

Yesterday they set a policeman on fire in Guadalajara, and today theyre outside the capitols embassy of the US; this started out because a construction worker was beaten to death, allegedly for not wearing a mask (for Covid and all that).

Its weird cause police brutality is like an everyday normal thing, i guess everyones on edge and its just an outlet.

Statistically Mexicans are equally likely to be brutalized by Police in Mexico or the US, Blacks are considerably more likely to be brutalized by police in the US than Mexico.

so, i'm getting really big into alternative ways to grow crops n shit, because while my fiancee really wants to go a traditional farm that uses horse technology route, i think the reality is just really going to be way too onerous for the two of us alone to produce the majority of our food for, what, minimum of five people at this point, two of those have dedicated incomes from outside sources (bee is one of them), two of us are severely impaired by chronic illness (i'm one of them), and then boi is gonna be a teen so probably not real hot on unpaid labor, which is totally fair i feel.

i really like the idea of going with grow bags and sack farming, because you can grow so fucking much food in a square meter cube, it's ridiculous.

My general experience with growing crops is that it is a lot of work.  Doing it different ways changes what sort of work that is, but not really the amount.

If you can find a way to grow food that is a sort of work you are comfortable doing it is totally worth it, but if you are chronically ill in a way that makes hard physical work impossible it's probably best to leave the food growing to the (sadly underpaid) professionals.

Realistically, between the corona virus furloughs and lock downs, this is the best opportunity I've seen for Ketteling the police.

To be clear: not for lack of trying. There is no good argument I can make in favor of him independent of our current shitshow, and that's what these bastards want. I'm giving up on trying to sell people on him because those I have access to either will already do it or I have nothing to give them. It sucks.

He came out in favor of forgiving rent and mortgage payments for the duration of the plague.  That's a pretty bold position, and a very good one.

Agreed, it's the only way. You can't maintain a lockdown with people getting booted from their residences.

The more moderate position is delaying payment.  Biden didn't just advocate for delaying payment, he advocated for cancelling it.
