When asked about the purported physical confrontation between two state Supreme Court justices earlier this month, Walker called the dispute a serious situation that should be carefully investigated to determine the facts.

Justice Ann Walsh Bradley told the Journal Sentinel on Saturday that fellow Justice David Prosser had put her in a "choke hold" on June 13, when the court was discussing when to issue a ruling on upholding the new state law ending most public employee collective bargaining.

Prosser has denied Bradley's version. Sources gave differing accounts of the confrontation to the Journal Sentinel on Saturday. One source said Bradley approached Prosser "with fists up" and that Prosser had raised his hands to deflect her.

This happened a while ago Maybe it's being brought up as a smokescreen of some kind.

The misunderstanding came down to an ill timed coincidence. That said even tough i think you show promise you should tone down the outlandishness a smidge until you get settled in.

  As I said, I am an outsider to this world.  I chose the word wizard from your English to describe myself because it is close enough as a descriptor. I will use the word for my kind as well.  Beings like my kind travel the planes and worlds with great frequency and are explorers and observers by nature and conditioning.  I believe I am not the first of my kind here but have no proof of this as you have lost much to your various "histories."  In truth I have no idea where here is. This may be a surprise to some, but the people of this world have been isolated and have become deceived. The form of what you call human is astoundingly common among the worlds.  Even immaterial beings, spirits and gods if you must, often prefer this form for it's sheer utility.  I was born to it just like you all.  I am also quite mortal and one day will die just like you as well. 

  In truth we are extremely similar but my kind are optimized for experiences that are perceptually and culturally denied to the majority of the people here.  I will tell you plainly, "All is change, nothing is impossible."  This is a basic truth among my kind.  Survival in a series of unknown environments requires such flexible perception and wizards train toward it.  I was a prodigy.  I am extraordinarily young compared to most functional wizards.  I dared where they would not and now have found myself marooned here on your world.  Worse, I have discovered that your world is toxic in ways that would terrify my ex-colleagues and that have limited my ability to work "magic".  The energies I must channel to do so may be over-generously described as sparse and tainted.  There have been no worlds known to us in such a condition.

  Though similar in form and perhaps of some common origin wizards are different in natural capability and skill.  We can see vaguely into what you call the ultraviolet light spectrum at all times and also easily commune with the immaterial beings in an area.  The sorcerers here use some very long and unreliable mental preparations to call on their deities and spirits that wizards are able to dispense with.  This is partially from the training and partially an inherent gift.  Indeed the first lesson for a student is often training to turn it off at will. The "license to depart" or banishment in your traditional summoning books is amusing in that it requires effort on par with ripping the wires out of one of your accursed "phones" and burying it in the back yard only to dig up, clean, and reassemble it when you want to use it again. The immaterial beings here have fooled you into unduly fearing them as gods or foolishly disregarding them as "non-existent."  The stories you have told yourselves tell me that they and their servants among you have run this ontological racket on you flawlessly. I guess even a god's gotta eat.

  I have been here for some time now and found some fascinating things.  Wizards are familiar with the energy form you call electricity. They shun it as able to (for lack of a better word) "de-wizard" a wizard that tries to channel it.  Being here has taught me that this is the result of ignorance and fear, though also true.  The fools try to use it as they use everything else and discard it as useless and dangerous when it fails to work the way they think it should.  You all showed me the light!  It's brilliant.  I understand the processes of how you make it and it's slave devices only poorly, but admire many of the material workarounds it has provided for the terrible shortage of magical energies here.  You do everything with it! You scry, commune, cook, clean, attack, defend, research, amuse, punish, illuminate, and do hosts of other things with it.  For such a recent development you've really just run with it in ways that would shame and terrify my old teachers.  I just love using the devices and taking them apart!

  Your "money" is also something known to us.  All cultures use a medium of exchange.  What is different here is the profound saturation of your minds it has accomplished.  When I saw that first dollar I knew it was a trick!  How could people trade stylish paper slips for everything?  I laughed so hard as I watched this happen over and over and even saw fights over it!  Clearly this was cheap sorcery at work, but EVERYONE was participating!  I immediately realized that survival here would be much better if I played along and found ways to acquire it when needed.  Even your spirits seem to really love it, their slaves ask for it so frequently.

He doesn't realize that happiness is just a form of temporary insanity.  It strikes when you can fool yourself into believing that you're actually going to get the things you want from life.  Or, worse, that life WILL give you the things you wanted, let you learn to enjoy them, let you think you actually DESERVED them and will get to keep them, and then it will just yank them away, in the most painful way possible.

Life just plain hasn't fucked this one enough, yet.  He'll learn, though...  He'll learn.

It did and I did learn.  I don't see this world in some stupid good vibes haze.  I see it and I hate what I see from us and nature alike.  Things fucking suck on this little dust particle of a planet.  I used to blame God, then I blamed people.  Finally I placed the blame right in my own lap.  I'm jealous about it now.  I don't want that dirty girl anywhere else and don't plan to share. She taught me things.  It is ALL my fault! I'm the one that determines if the local reality sucks for me or not.  If there are things in it that I really want to change or adapt to that's also firmly on me and i pay the costs. I'm aware all of this may be meaningless and horrible in the end and don't mind that. 

As for saying stuff like "Peace and happy for it's own sake" I mean it.  They're useful and (I think) fucking healthy to have, and the meaninglessness will Always be there for you if you have them or not.  They're perfectly useful tools if you learn to work them, and it pointlessly cripples you to deny them to yourself & others because it hurts to lose them.  I mean this is Earth and we do pain here for a living.  It's excruciating for me to type these replies sometimes.  I'm sure their content seems unwanted, unimpressive, and annoying to some of you, and I tend to go on at length.  I'm well aware that I can come off as a blowhard with extra pretensions.  I'm not one though.  I don't need or demand respect either but I find giving it mutually useful.  There's nothing useful to me in a tepid nihilistic(or whatever) worldview with "Happy is a disease and you can never keep anything, oh no!" as a factor.  At least an honest hate could be useful to me.

I don't know.(should just say that, but..)  I reacted angrily to the idea that I need to learn more about life and it's terribleness and all this stuff came out.  It's not very coherent, but I really felt annoyed and wasn't thinking about clarity.  should have been more like:

1. Life has fucked me plenty, thanks .  I'm not a fool optimist.  The world can be terrible and I know it.   I used to pass off the blame for the hurt I felt on God and other people, but now only blame myself if I don't like this world.  I take responsibility for my part in it.  If I want to act on what I see and don't (or do) like I bear the costs of that.  I know that whatever effort put in or other costs I pay will not matter. I may get nothing for them, and I can fight that possibility but will eventually lose when I inevitably die.

2. I say things like "Peace and be happy for it's own sake" because I mean it.  Peace(in the fearless sense) and happiness(also fearless but having fun) are VERY useful in daily life.  They can be mastered like tools fit to heal or harm.  It seems pointless to deny yourself such just because it hurts to use.  Luna's description isn't entirely inaccurate, but I don't think that's real happiness.  If you were really happy all those desires & delusions Luna described might not have much power over you. Much less the ability to hurt you.     The rest of the paragraph is just pointless  crap and the idea that I would prefer an honest hate to the cold trickster adversary Luna made happiness out to be.  Reading the post again I'm not struck by it's incoherence. I sound off almost like a drug addict about this happiness thing and need to think before typing. 

My money is on "he's trying to be funny/clever" or he's schizophrenic.

Well, I'm not schizophrenic either.  I came here to share art and play at the games you all set up for yourselves.  I hope to keep doing that until I run out of time or interest. I'm pretty serious about a lot of things in life, but want to have fun here. I've been enjoying MUCH more reading than posting and think some of you are very talented and others are jerks.  Some of you are truly gifted jerks and it scares me a little.  If you tolerate my posts and non-witty moments maybe I'll happen to provoke and entertain you some day.

Fair Enough good Doktor.  I'm still a little new to forums generally.  I'll slowly post more audio links in the audioautoerotica thread I set up.  Those probably reflect my thoughts and desire to entertain better anyway.  In the mean time I'll try to tuck it back in my posts a bit, but I set up a thread in OR KILL ME expressly to characterize from parts of a story I've been putting together.

No.  If you'd read the thread, you'd know why.

I had skimmed it.  I'll find it again.  There's a lot of stuff here and I'm doing other stuff so I'm gonna be a little slow on the in-jokes.  If some of the good material wasn't so good here I'd have left this forum alone a while ago due to the extraordinary volume of the in-knowledge needed to get the jokes in them, or even to answer basic questions.

I can attest that it's worth it.
