PD.com forums: a disorganized echo-chamber full of concordian, Greyfaced radical left-wing nutjobs who honestly believe they can take down imaginary Nazis by distributing flyers. They are highly-suspicious of all newcomers and hostile to almost everyone, including themselves. The only thing they don't take seriously is Discordianism.

Literate Chaotic / What?
April 03, 2005, 11:39:01 PM
My Lord told me a joke
And seeing him laugh
Has done more for me
Than any scripture
I will ever read.
             Meister Eckhart (Catholic Monk 1260-1328)

I didn't know Catholics believed in Eris. . .

The Tao that can be told
is not the universal Tao.
The name that can be named
is not the universal name.

Is it possible that the act of explaining something fundamentally changes it's nature? Like when those dudes tried to monitor those electrons to see how they could possibly go through two slits at once but as soon as they started monitoring them they only went through one slit. . . I forget their names, but I'm sure SOMEONE knows what I'm talking about.

As it is said, there are two types of people, those who get it and those who don't.  I don't think Erisianism can be explained to those who don't get it, simply because the only ones who can explain Erisianism are those who understand it, and they won't, because they can't.  Because it can't be seperated from the jokes about it, because the jokes are the explanation! But then again, what can be explained, has been, twenty-seven centuries before that which can't be explained arose.

Then again, you have to appreciate a philosophy/religion where confusing people is a form of worship and laughter is prayer.  I did my part for the cause, this morning I returned "good morning" with "grasshopper always wrong in argument with chicken".  Felt good.  Felt great.  Then I watched Alice in Wonderland and celebrated the confusion.

Yo, I think I'm crazy. Anyone want to celebrate?

Sincerely,
The UtterNovice, H. O. K., S. S. O. O. (Heavy on the Crazy. Secret Society of Overachievers. I said secret Damnit!)
