Title: Horror News Network
Post by: Nephew Twiddleton on August 28, 2010, 04:53:05 AM
I figure that this particular board should have a central news place. Post relevant news links here.

Not sure if this qualifies more in a different place, but I think that this particular news piece is relevant because it combines the study of horror (for the non-Discordians of the world) with tourism. If it doesn't fit, I can remove the link and move it elsewhere.

Alternative tours draw travelers to Mexico

QuoteMEXICO CITY (Reuters) – While most travelers flock to Mexico to sip margaritas on white-sand beaches, a hardy few choose lesser-known tourist sites where they are chased down by immigration agents or risk their lives in dangerous slums.

Not sure if this is repost but:

http://abcnews.go.com/US/manual-molest-children-legal-cops/story?id=11561609

Apparently a 170 page manual on how to molest children has surfaced within the past week.
The horror comes in when it turns out that it is completely legal to own and distribute said manual.

Just when you start thinking of the world as just many shades of gray, you find an example of pure evil, to screw you up.

They should find whoever wrote this and put them down.

There is NOT an object in the infini-verse hard enough for me to bang my head into over this.

They are looking for the author, because they "suspect" that he (it's most likely a he) has offended himself.

No shit.

I guess the technicality is that it's not kiddie porn. Fuck that shit. It's disseminating information to make sex offenders more effective at their crimes.
I want to hit my head against something too.

I guess this is the thing that's really incomprehensible about this.
It's illegal to yell "fire" in a movie theater because it's a public safety risk.

How is publishing a manual on how to molest children not also a public safety risk?

Yelling fire is an overt act.

Unfortunately, this vile shit isn't.

Sometimes I don't want to know more.

The only silver lining is that the author has no fucking clue about KYFMS, and he will probably be confronted by authorities.

He published under the name "The Mule" so they might have to do some digging, but I'm guessing this guy will slip up sooner or later. I guess it was being distributed online, so they probably just have to follow the IP addresses.

If he chose a pseudonym, he's too stupid to stop.
