I was relieved when Fox News refused to play along. It seemed to me that they and the Republicans saw this as a fight that DJT would likely lose, and gambling on that was too dangerous for them; backing T personally to the hilt leaves them compromised if T loses.

But I misjudged the cowardice of the Republican Party. Most Republican electeds are trying to ride out this interval without either throwing fully behind Trump OR conceding to Biden.

And while Team Trump ARE fully playing along with Maximum Leader, they cannot lead from below, which means they cannot set up the They Betrayed Democracy story from their end; it has to come from the man himself. Nor does it seem that all the brownshirts out there itching for a fight have the ability to act decisively and get ahead of the President.

But this weird in-between state cannot last forever. Somebody is going to make a move and we are going to be all the way in the churn.

I do wonder if Biden's getting assassinated before he takes up office.

Tbh for the most part its just delusion and denial... although i agree that its also preliminar setup for the possibility of armed revolt if they get any chance at doing it effectively.

I dont really have a well established theoretical perspective about these things but, such ideological postures are just a variation of defense mechanisms.

And defense mechanisms act upon what they perceive to be dangerous threats, regardless of their true relation to reality.

So unless you can manage to bunker-bust their irrational fears, you are not accomplishing ANYTHING.

So i see Biden won, and Trump isnt recognizing it.

They're very much waiting to see what Trump does. He might stick to the legal challenges and the cries of fraud even after defeat - he might even declare that he will remain President until 2024.
