Back in the day we didnt have to worry bout terrorists.
WE WERE ABLE TO AIM OUR VAST NUCLEAR ARSENALS AT A WELL DEFINED FOE

What we had to worry about back then was mutually assured destruction.

Roger, what is your stance on the legalization of emus?

Possession of emu should result in diversion for Quality People, and life at hard labor in the potato mines of Iowa for Those Other People.

sure that's not Idaho?

And, believe it or not, one of the subplots is God left, and the angels are scrambling to keep things running.

same is true of Dogma and the show Supernatural. hm....

Weren't the disciples a little retarded anyway? They never got what Jesus was saying to them even though they followed him around 24/7 and had nothing else to think about.

That's why Jesus had to go to Paul, according to Marcion at least.

:lulz:  I hadn't heard that one before!

Roosevelt was actually sworn in on a copy of the Necronomicon, bound in the freshly stripped flesh of children and gifted to him by J.P. Morgan.

So i have this possibly/probably-abandoned novel (for nanowrimo) but one of the characters used to work for an extraterrestial/paranormal investigation agency in Arizona (but since then moved to another branch of the same organization, someplace unnamed that is actually in the midwest...someplace i actually know something about.)
I haven't been to Arizona, so i was wondering if anyone who lives/has lived there has any ideas about what such a hypothetical organization might encounter there.
thanks.

The idea reserves went dry a long time ago. Sometime theyll find a new mine or some idea sands and theyll be able to extract a little bit of idea refine it sell it burn it. But yeah usually the emissions have to be recaptured and used to synthesize more idea.

yeah, this sounds about right.
