So true. Truer words have never been issueded. The truthiness is supreme. But just a question, springing from the depth of my confused, mostly caused by the few shots of Jaegermeister, you should drink it at room temperature to get experince all the flavours, mind - this is not an endorsement to drink alkohol, which is proven to cause cancer, and I'm quite sure my fathers cancer was caused by it, but rather just an excuse for my confusement, what is the reason, and I'm not intending to critique anyone here, that you, again no criticisim, are using, this is an interesting word, it is both an everyday word to indicate an action, but also a way to describe the superiority or exploitative Actions of someone. Just saying.

Yeah they are cute. But they are supposed to be monsters. But I'm unable to turn them into monsters.

Aneristic Illusions / Happy Friends
March 30, 2024, 08:59:35 PM
I visited a friend today. Her passion is flying and when I saw her on the airfield walking to the plan she is about to fly into the sky I was happy because she was happy.

Here is some text that describes something similar to this:

QuoteI find it immensely comforting seeing a person being happy.
Today I finally managed to visit a good friend while she was doing what she enjoys. I never saw her this happy for such a long time.
Sure, I experienced her happiness on many occasions, but not to this extend.
It makes me glad to see her in this state.
We should do this more often.
Follow our friends to their happy place.
Be happy because they are happy.

CN: It's about suicide

Thoughts from one of those who remain

QuoteChop Suey

Suicide is a difficult topic. What is our issue with it? Are we afraid that we will die? Is it the lost time spent with the other person? The potential for good memories?
Eris attaches no sin to a self chosen death. So the act, in itself, shouldn't bring us sorrow.
Often, it's the circumstances that lead to this end. We hear or read the story and think of all the possible ways where the plot could have taken a different route. How we could have made a difference, if we had just known how the future would play out.
But we didn't.
We have to live on.
Suffering has been lessened. There might have been better outcomes, this might be the least bad one.
I don't know.

I don't like this. I don't like this reality at all.
How can we help? Can we help? We can, I think!
I have a couch. But in Germany, I could provide money for a flight (I think, not that much money but it should be possible) and residence on my couch. But I don't have influence/money to get you a job (also no idea about bureaucratic stuff)

I concur. US politics is special. Your "the winner takes it all"-voting system truly has a lot of undemocratic consequences. The biggest, I think, is the two-party system and the extremely unhinged pre-vote period/year.

There are Songs/musical pieces of any kind which are exceptional. Which is more influential/important/significant/good* Purple Haze or Bach's Toccata und Fuge in d-Moll (BWV 565)?
People have opinions, but who knows? (I don't care. Good music is good music)

*whatever that means

Vaccines save lives!
Lives create discord!
...
You can deduct the rest!

Here is the link to the scientific study behind this:

Python meat consists of 51% Proteins and you have to feed them just 2.4 times of this amount of protein (they don't eat plants so you would have to consider the amount of protein you had to feed to the animals you feed to your pythons). This is better than Beef (for 83g protein in feed (only plants) 1g protein in beef).

An interesting part is that snakes don't spend so much of their energy on heat production/controll, so the meat producer can substitute this with other forms of energy like electricity generated from the sun.

But of course, compared to Plants...(1g of plant protein is 1g of protein for us)

Quote from: Brother Mythos on March 11, 2024, 09:07:16 AMAfter watching the senator's rebuttal to the SOTU, it occurred to me that the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation, the people who hand out those infamous "Razzies," should be encouraged to branch out from only critiquing movies, and create two (2) new categories. I suggest calling them Worst Actor, and Worst Actress in an Official Political Performance Art Piece. It's still early, of course, but I believe it will be difficult to underperform Senator Britt for a possible 45th Golden Raspberry Award.

At first I thought these awards would be an easy win for the USA. But after thinking about who would be second I realized, there are a lot of politicians who only and badly perform an act. The UK has some, Australia, .... From a comedy podcast with Indian guests I know India will be a contender in this. Germany and Austria have their Pappenheimer (Rascals (euphemism, mostly Nazis)), but they can't speak English so you won't hear from them.

That's why people who engage in politics are either fanatics of some ideology or frustrated.

I tried to make mead with less alcohol by using only a 3rd of the honey, let it ferment, clarify and remove the yeast, and then add some more honey. But forgot to stop the remaining yeast properly so it started again after I filled it into bottles and I had a small explosion after a few days (luckily the bottle was still in the Kitchen and it was easy to clean up).

For this text I won't provide transcription. I want you to be slow. (Comment if the document isn't accessible for you, and why. I will find a solution)
