It did. I had some penance to do, but everything's more or less worked out.

Sorry for the long absence. Some personal shit happened, and well...yeah.

Either way, I'm back and glad for it.

QuoteSEMAJ!  STOP posting so much.

Too much time on my hands, what can I say?

Kick ass! Improvised mad science in action. It's always cool to see what people can throw together when they need to.

Also, is it me or does the guy in the last picture look like James Franco?

Well, it has all of the dice rolly elements most games have, but what the system different are the aspects. Aspects are little one-five word descriptions of your character that give you bonus dice on appropriate rolls. So, if you've an aspect called "Really hates Chuck", then you can get bonus dice when you're doing something to mess with Chuck.

But, you're enemies can also use aspects against you. Continuing to use "Really hates Chuck" as an example, you're enemies can use your aspect to get bonus dice if they want you to go against Chuck, even if it's against your best interests. There's more to it than that, but that's kind of the gist.

I'd really recommend two other Fate games. Spirit of the Century, my favorite, is a pulp game, and Houses of the Blooded, an anti D&D, that's also really good.

The same thing you've got, but in pdf.

I liked the game. I love the books, and I'm a fan of the FATE system (especially Spirits of the Century), but I actually haven't gotten a chance to play this one. But just reading it, pretty good.

I've got the core book as a pdf, if you want it. Or I could show you where you could download it yourself.

This makes me sick. Something hideous needs to happen to these Tea Party bastards.

I figure we'll come pretty close. Except we won't be the ones with the cybernetic implants, like the hand blades Molly had.

That's fucking wrong. Thing's are pretty bad when the cops are setting up crimes so they can bust them.

How's the War on Terror, fellas?

QuoteI'm fine.  He had a long, healthy life, and went out in his sleep.  If you have to choose your exit, it wasn't a bad one.

Good on both counts. It's never fun losing someone like that. But, yeah, that's a pretty good way to go.

Fred-Really- you had peeps choosing what you were going to wear at age 18?

No disrespect-(cause I dig you) but What The Fuck, couldn't you make your own decisions and sustain yourself at age EIGHTEEN????

I pegged you as a self sustained being.
(were you forced into this arrangement?)

I'm pretty sure Fred's talking about school uniforms.
