I love the idea of brewing a single mouthful of coffee at a time. And you have to drink it through a straw, so there's a great chance you're going to burn your mouth on that first sip.
it's so much work and patience... for basically no payoff.

Ah, but the beauty of this is that it comes with a thermometer.
So all you have to do is watch the temperature until it reaches optimum (while your friend, who brought a thermos, is already halfway through their cup, and trying not to laugh).

I will say however, when I read the OP, my brain did not read "briping" as "BRY-ping", as obviously intended.
I read "BRIP-ping".
I prefer it that way.

i dunno man, i think of it more as a way to smoke a pipe without smoking a pipe.
i kicked cigarettes about 6 yrs ago after smoking 1-2 packs a day for 20 years so i'm not gonna even think about smoking an actual pipe, so this kinda fills that urge. i would think certain aromatic teas would also be enjoyable, too.
I imagine lots of people just get them to smoke weed, too. I mean, that's a pretty massive bowl.
i mean - it would be so fun to just walk up to the designated smoking shack at work, and pull this kit out. all the smokers would be like, "the fuck are you doing?"

well, I bought one and it's somewhat enjoyable - although, to be honest, i've only briped three times. i find it's nice for motorcycle trips when you need to take a break, but you don't need gas and you're not hungry. just find a shady spot with a bench or a picnic table and cook yourself up a bripe.
briping in public puts you in a weird head space, though, because you don't want anyone to see you and cast judgment like you know they will. if anyone sees you, you're desperate for them to ask you, "what the fuck is that?" so you can explain that it's just this silly thing you bought cuz you thought it was silly. but they never ask because they think you're probably doing drugs. which, you sort of are.
