If you wanted to change the past couldn't you just bribe all the historians?
The conspiracy is much deeper than that, IMHO

Oh, y'all are fucked.

No, it's fine, we've figured out that the virus doesn't spread anywhere people are making or spending money, just everywhere else.
We will have to offer services

I could SWEAR I asked you as cordially as fucking possible to shut up with your nonsense on this thread. I'm all out of cordial so FUCKING SHUT IT if you want to make so much as a stupid quip I can't technically stop you but you are on my very last nerve and far from alone in that. If you want a brand new enemy with ample free time and HORRIBLE ideas all the time post nonsense petty reactions ITT one more time or anything at all ITT even a lame half assed apology or dissent at my annoyance at having to tell you twice for at least a month.

Just be quiet
For now.
It would be
Uncharacteristically
Wise of you,

For those who don´t know him, he became somewhat famous on the interwebs for be one of the creators of the Randonautica App.

I keep on trying to read Marx, currently mulling over the Third Economic and Philosophic manuscript, on The Power of Money, specifically. Very condensed good.

Also, let's see, what's for lunch... "Dust" series on YouTube has a few good ones, "Control-Z" being as good a place as any to start.

[edited to add...]

The "Headcleaner" episode was also a right creeper.

I don't know... he doesn't answer his voicemails and seems to have a rather blunt understanding of ludic principles and fallacies.

Re: "Meh" I think it was this latest season of doom patrol, had some sort of Jack the Ripper episode that was rather chilling, for me.

"A sheriff launched an algorithm to predict who might commit a crime. Dozens of people said they were harassed by deputies for no reason."

https://www.businessinsider.com/predictive-policing-algorithm-monitors-harasses-families-report-2020-9

QuoteBut according to a six-month investigation published this week by the Tampa Bay Times, the high-tech tool deployed by the Pasco Sheriff's Office didn't lead to a reduction in violent crime — instead, 21 families singled out by the algorithm said they were routinely harassed by deputies, even when there was no evidence of a specific crime.

In September 2019, deputies showed up at 15-year-old Rio Wojtecki's door because the algorithm had determined Rio was one of the county's "Top 5" at risk of committing more crimes, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

Before that, Rio had been arrested only one time, a year prior, and was charged with sneaking into a carport and stealing motorized bicycles. Rio had already been assigned a juvenile probation officer — but because of the algorithm, police showed up at Rio's house to question him at least 21 times, beginning with that September visit, Rio's mother told the Tampa Bay Times.

QuotePeople's criminal records — including charges that were later dropped — were fed into the algorithm to determine potential future offenders. Former employees of the sheriff's office said deputies were instructed to visit the homes of people the algorithm selected, charge them with zoning violations, and make arrests for any reason they could. Those violations and arrests were then fed back into the algorithm, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Thats like the movie Minority Report... there was another one involving with an artificial intelligence "Sphynx" that was similar, wish i could remember.

Cursory search turns up "Cyborg 009" as an anime/manga with Sphinx AI.
