"BATTLE HYMN OF THE ERISTOCRACY was written by Lord Omar" starts the second to last paragraph of the first column. Page of credits?

Hey, what's wrong with middle-aged sex?

I just think there are a lot of people who aren't very good at doing risk/benefit analysis for medications in general, and doctors are either unwilling or unable to give them any help in that regard. Sure, there are people who have legitimate attention problems, but the improved classroom/work performance has to be balanced against (among other things) the risk of life-long chemical dependency. If you aren't gonna graduate high school without it, then sure, that's totally reasonable.

Having messed around a little bit with self-publication, I can't imagine there not being some early versions before the 4e we all know and love was completed.

A young Iranian nuclear physicist helps to build an unstable particle accelerator, which goes haywire and generates a wormhole that sucks him in. The story alternates between his pulp sci-fi style romp through an alternate universe and the increasingly desperate situation for his wife back home. As he's dying of apparent old age, the trappings of his story fall apart and he's left completely alone in the void. He recalls a discussion he had with his wife on information loss, and how the narrative of his experience will vanish with him.

This is awesome. Do you have any plans to write some more longer pieces for it? I love the "journalist gets sucked into the story" narrative (seen it happen to a lot of people in the last couple of years) and I think it would work as a booklet, if there's a good wrapping up point.  Leave it on subway cars or bathroom stalls with the last page talking about "this is your wink" or something. I dunno, it's great writing anyway, I totally bought it until someone mentioned it not being real.

So, where is this implied state where the population in the country is accepting of a waving freak flag? I've been to over half of them, and it isn't in any of those....
Massachusetts is pretty freak-friendly, although we do manage to have some dead mill towns that have problems.

HOLA FROM DEAD MASSACHUSETTS MILL TOWN # 12
