I also recall something from the Book of Eris on this, but I'm too lazy to look it up right now.

Quote from: chaosgraves:agentoferishhhmmmm... you know I really don't feel comfortable talking this one over with you and frankly this is something that I feel is only important between me my creator and my saviour in the blood the lord Jesus Christ...
Why didn't you say so in the first palce?

I say, good on ya.

Me, I've personally experienced only the Goddess Voice, but that's me.

Ooooooo ...

Fluffy, the Moderator...
Chef, the Moderator...
Gramer Nazi, the Moderator...

Maybe only guests should have mod powers, and members don't ...

Maybe I should get some sleep ...

Quote from: MedeoI'm sorry, I just don't see this "decline" that Hotsuma's talking about.

Now, I've only been here since May of last year- a lot of you were here before I showed up. So if any of you old-timers can recall an era when the forums contained anything considerably more than:

-Stupid Word Games (TM)
-Links to funny/interesting websites
-Random fights and arguments between members, often about nothing in particular
-Rants, reviews, and other bitchings
-Fluff
-Quizzes, polls, and getting-to-know-you threads (like "PICS", "Where do you live", etc.)
-Silly one liners or innocuous comments which inexplicably lead to 8-page-long discussions

....then let me know. Otherwise, I still find the forums to be just as entertaining a distraction as they were when I first showed up.
There used to be a little less fluff, but I think it was mostly because we had fewer members.

To everyone complaining about Mods and/or fluff:  choose one - strict moderators or fluff. you just can't have it both ways. The Mgt removed serveral "dead" treads because they take up space, and the space ain't free. Be glad we still have a place where you can sayt or do almost anything without having the Admin or Mods jump all down your throat. And if you want to have a serious coversation, just have it. Bring up a serious issue, and ignore the inevitable fluff.

Anytime anyone is placed in control over prisoners - or anyone over whom they have total athority - there is not only potential, but likleyhood of abuse of power. Phycologists have known this for years - decades even; and when people are told by athority figures that some repugnant action is "nessasary", thay will do it, even if it causes great harm to someone else, even if that someone can be easily seen and cannot retaliate.

Makes me wonder about my fetishes, sometimes...

Quote from: Compositus ConfusioHow old are you and your sister, are either of your single, and how much would I have to flatter and impress the both of you to get one of you to notice me?

Aah that takes me back to when I first found out Bella was a fair-skinned, green-eyed red-head. Where does time fly to, where does time go.....?
I takes me back to the time I snuck into New York, climbed buildinmg after building until I found were Velvet Jesus was living, hid in shadows with a video camera, followed her to and from work, left flowers everywhere she when, and offered to sacrifice various body parts to prove my love. (ah, the good old days: http://www.principiadiscordia.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=19569&highlight=#19569 )

Quote from: chaosgraves:agentoferisJOLLY ROGER!!!

can't believe they called it a pirate flag...
The Jolly Roger was only one of the dozens of pirate flags flown; there were also several variations on the Jolly Roger. "Pirate flag" is actually a more accurate description.

Its the simple skull and crossbones banner flown a black background. Jeez, why dont you guys nitpick me to death?
'Cause I felt like it!    :P

You could use thje ace and put a light layer of Colored Breathable tape over it. Sorry, I couldn't find colored ace bandages on short notice (I could if I had more time).  You could also try dying your Ace with RIT(tm) dyes.
