I realize that you probably totally know all of this, but I felt compelled to spell out certain details of this game for outside observers. Otherwise, how will they know what's going on?
I restarted because the Sword of Summoning isnt that good (it makes healing timings more complicated, and will make getting thru the castle entrance harder, because summons dont hit as hard as oneself), i figure im going for Flaming Sword this time.
Btw, im pretty sure the only way to kill Dragon is with brewing potion of Invincibility.

Is the Sword of Life any good? Like, better than Sword of Fire?
Sword of Summoning is unreliable, because you cannot know when it will summon and need to keep tabs later on when it will die... granted its good for killing swarms of small creatures, like ghosts, i dont think its good at the Castle's Keep.
Sword of Fire gives a very good damage output and allows you to know easily when you need to heal.

Thinking about this, with crafting mechanics in general the thing that pisses me off is mainly the the "hidden grinding game" aspect that gets slipped into a lot of games by near accident. To mine X Click Y times/play Z tedious minigame. It's not infrequent enough to be an accomplishment and they tend to become intergral to winning the game (or at least speeding advancement in key areas)
In play terms the only difference between the click to kill RPG(Diablos/Skyrim), Making a friend in the Sims or more potions from the cauldron is graphics. With the diablos/skyrims other skills are tested so you notice the repetition less. The sims style games have content overload so interactions vary between purely functional to pure fun. The fun type rarely advances the game towards a typical "win" state which results in many players going soley for the known routine that improves regardless.
The cauldron gives you exact instructions and resource is abundant, so the key investment is
time mixing/boiling/routining to win. I'm kind of averse to games where you win just by doing it more. I'd prefer some kind of skill challenge in with it, however minor. I'm not sure what would be a fair skill to test though.
I get that it's just a browser game and I'm not trying to shit on it or ruin it for everyone. I just like game mechanics.

There's actually quite a bit to it. It's better designed than a lot of games i've blasted through recently. Been on a bit of binge and am now enjoying a lovely bout of self loathing. I had shit to do. It waited but it could have ended badly.

Id like to point out that Demons have 90 Health, and they hit for 32 damage... so with lvl 5 Sword of Fire it takes 5 hits to kill them... so thats 160 Life lost per demon... and from what i searched in the web, you have to kill several ones in a row, which means either a lot of Life accumulated or using a different type of sword.

SPOILER:
Ok, the way to get thru Hell is to avoid the demons, and when you get stuck you do Invulnerability, you should be able to get to the 1st wall, after you break it down you get teleported to the start, Ghosts will be coming so you have to summon an Imp to block for you, as you push forward with the Imp, you have to heal, and when you get to the Devil you Invulnerability again and that should do it.

totally works.
note: having Infinity hit points interacts strangely with the GHO's who halve your HP, and it might make the fight with Yourself unwinnable.
edit2: confirmed, you can't win if vs. Yourself if you have infinity HP. But having NaN hitpoints doesn't seem to bother the hero at all.

I've been scourging the Internets, and supposedly it's the DEL key according to several sources... but for me it is not working, and believe me, I've spammed the key some spaces beforehand until i die but it doesn't work - I did notice he moves around a lot, so maybe you gotta get lucky with him being in front of you when you hit DEL.
OH BTW, giving the Sorceress 300k lollipops eventually you get an even return in candies after about 4 times.

I think the "correct" solution is to time an invincibility potion to given yourself enough time to hit all the letters. I just paused the game and read the value of the secret letter.

I beat the dragon. Candy and lollipop is now completely interchangeable for me (300klp buys 300kcnd). I'm currently working on increasing candy generation so I can buff myself the hell up and so I can use the converter to generate an asston of lollipops and upgrade my sword.

664 HP, lvl 10 sword, still haven't beat the damn dragon.
Make like 50 major health potions and about 10 invulnerability potions. Spam health potions as you get up to the Dev, then hit the Invulnerability potion as soon as you get to him. Then key mash like a motherfucker.
It's tough, though, I'm back up to several billion whatevers and like 5500 hp and I still just lost to the Dev - all depends on how luck you are hitting they key.

The middle three rows are banshees only, slightly less scary. Unless you mean the part where solid walls of ghosts come at you, in which all I've got is bring a clone with you to tank.

Summon an Imp, it will kill them one by one without dying, but dont move rows after summoning.
I've done the imp thing, now I'm getting fireballs. :argh!:

I used a modified version of the seed/invulnerability method, throwing clones at it instead.

One of the bugs was an "Sword of LiFlameSummoning" of a level of "Infinity + 10"... unfortunately its a temporary bug, and i didnt test out if it could kill the Developer with a hit.
And btw, there's 10,000,000,000 lvl5 bugs... i actually farmed the Developer for a couple of runs :lol:

No, bugs are something you can buy after you kill the Developer.

Clone takes forever to recharge so you end up having to teleport like 4 or 5 times while you're waiting.

It's one of the 10000 mlp bugs. It killed Chuck Norris in one hit and turned me invisible. It's weird. Another 10000 mlp bug turns everyone into ponies. PONIES! Going for 100 billion lollipops now. Generating 30,000/second plus my candies which are pouring another 400-some/sec into it.
FINALLY KILLED THE DEV.
I've been stuck at Hell for a while now. I really haven't been giving it my all, though.
I finally hung it up after I had eaten 6.### x 10^90 candies, had something on the magnitude of 10^50 lollipops, and had pumped my candies production to trillions/sec. The bug factory is pretty cool though. Save before you do any of them. They make a mess.
Trying to beat the Dev again, I think I'm going to give up and sleep.

You need enough HPs to live thru the thing right before the DEV, so it does not mess up the invulnerability potion for the DEV; once you can do that, you can grind the level for tons of candies.

Alternatively, grind like fuck on the earlier levels and just throw imps up to deal with the ghosts. You still need to avoid as many fights as possible.
