Durring the DW.DE broadcast of the of the Sain{ v in sien political
Maid4TV the thought came to me about Math | thus this push to active

the two words are
integrate
differentiate
----
before i branch out to the web to see what (Um}he thinks
{{ Q1 is the Web Masquline or feminan in the romance languages}}}?
= = =
i wanna say  a few paragraphs about the 2 i & d
when i was in the navy 56-60 Sum of my navy carrier was watching a RADAR
the Radar screen was in an area of the ship directly behind the wheel house
& was called CIC meaning Combat Information Center | there were no windows
a hatch{door forward to the top of the Ladder{STAIRS down to the boat deck
OR forward to the Wheel house | there were devices in both areas called
sound powered telephones | so communications were possible without the
use of carrier pigions | and the talk sounded something tike this
Con this is combat there is a contect bearing 180 true closing on collision
course at 33&1/3 knots reccomend changing course to 270 true
CONBAT this is CON AFERMATIVE WE SEE THE TIN CAN, Closing
After stearing this is CON , we have lost steering !!!! Right full rudder
(silence)
T open the escape hatch | We are going to Collide || the escape hatch was OPENED
? well never mind
my point is this between the Radar on the port side & the Chart table Forward
was a device call the plotting table In the ploting table was a bunch of gears
and motors such that a beam of light from below was projected up onto
the paper above ? the path of the ship on the map could be followed by
marking the paper . . . as time passed OK inside the devise where the
mechanical devices to move the light . one computation was the intigrator
the intigrator was a shiny disk being spun by a precision speed motor
an thus input time into the equation on top of the disk was a wheel on a shaft
shaft ====||<wheel  when the wheel was in the center(0) the shaft did not
turn as speed increased the wheel moved tward the outter edge and the
shaft turned | THUS ships speed (wheel on shaft distance drom 0) was
"INTEGRATED over time to output distance (the turning shaft

? another computation was the differentchitor {ill get the spellin eventually
the input was distance ===spinning shaft==x the outputs were 2
distance North/south & distance East/west

in my mind i have a very clear picture of the int
i do not have such a clear on of dif {have to think about it

in Math i was not as good at integration as i was at differential equations

{end of BS back to reel time? Gamburd is Very good at int | not as clever at dif{daf?

"Integral form  ...->  Differential form  ...-> Matrix form"

it May take me 2 or 3&1/3 years to correct the spelling {Sorry

that i have long since forgotten about | i dont even REMember differentiators

was 3D & included such words as ROLL & PITCH LEVEL & CROSS LEVEL
& on an on, really a maze of gears levers wheels | real  FUN & games
So why bother MathAMagics from the past 3D

"Integral form  ...->  Differential form  ...-> Matrix form"

to 4D i conSider the L.Sc A 4D deviice | even though as installed on the Hi
speed vessel i was on |there was a wire missing {never mind
the 4D has feed back so the block looks like

Currently if i were allowed to Return To campUS i would ask Cris about

Actually no, I'm on Windows 7 currently. But I have Python and GIMP installed on Windows just the same, because I prefer free and open source software.

At some point I'll return to Ubuntu, though. I enjoyed using it in the past, but I haven't really decided to bother with the whole transition and everything. And for now, things work rather well. Win7 is a pretty neat OS. If it weren't for the fact that I have no idea what it's doing behind my back, and Microsoft's explicit "And nor do you need to know unless you're government or corporate forensics and attend our MS certified forensics presentations", I would almost stick with it :)

Yeah Pylab python code translates pretty directly to MATLAB code. That's why they called it PyLAB :)

But you made two mistakes (highlight in red):

Quote from: hirley0 on April 19, 2012, 09:39:00 PM
13:33&1/3 -
% % % %%% Day_n =  20120419 t_Start =  1223

%  lines + green o's
plot(x,da, 'go')
% set axis limits
axis([-5, 9, -5, 5])
% dotted lines
grid on
%/%% ?/??
lookfor polyfit %% POLYFIT Polynomial curve fitting.
help polyfit %%% finds the coefficients of a polynomial
%%%%% See also POLY, POLYVAL, ROOTS.

% polynomial fit, blue curve
p7=polyfit(da, x, 7)
%% % Warning: Matrix is singular to working precision.
p3=polyfit(da, x, 3) % %%%    -0.6944         0    4.0278    2.0000
%%% % Warning: Rank deficient, rank = 3  tol =   2.8588e-014
% polynomial fix, RED curve's lookfor frange NOT FOUND

As far as I remember from MATLAB, the code x = 1:l generates a sequence [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8]? But Python's range(8) makes a sequence [0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7].

But the reason why you get the rank error is because you switched the order of your parameters for polyfit. It should work if you do this:

p = polyfit([0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7], da, 7)

See the first param is the x points and the second is the y (data) points. Otherwise it tries to fit a polynomial for [0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7] on the y axis for the points [2,0,1,2,2,1,1,2] on the x-axis and you get multiple values for a single x position and you can't fit a polynomial to that.

(also try putting [tt] tags around your code, it looks prettier :) )

17:02 "the reason why you get the rank error"
yeah: when i first look at this i did not understand
after the second OR maybe 3rd read thru i could see it also

Moving along anyway, in my mind there exists a conversion

much time on the issue | whatever it was | so i skipped
poly & hopped aboard spline | i may well go back and
look into the spline.m file to see how it is done.

one of my main D'lusions{problems with matlab is the one
i refer to as built in. a buit in is a routine that i cant

forget the example it was a long time ago. i still use
matlab, though these days it's not often. My guess is R is

a different approach to Math than MatLab. unfortunatly 4Me
my download of a sample STELLA is cripleware and there is
no save feature. because its very time consuming ? whereas
matlab is rather quick, in comparison(imo) not being able to

I would place MatLab & {yeah{{PyLab  at rank 1 integeral

Look I don't understand why you're all so skeptical about this. The SCIENCE is pretty clear:
http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/7812/sciencet.png
it has a graph, and Maya symbols, and everything. I even fitted a fucking polynomial to the numbers 2,0,1,2,1,2,2,1.
I want a fucking tshirt with that on it.

A? take the above .png for example | on my Ti83 | i am convinced | without
checking | that if | i use a 3rd  order equation as a guess i get one answer
(graphic) If a 4th the tail end point the opposite way | its sort of UP v Down

Aa. & i'll check the Ti to find the choices (words} i has available?
Ti: ?STAT ?4 LinReg(ax+b) 5QuadReg 6CubicReg 7Quartreg 8LinReg(a+bx)
9LnReg 0ExpReg A PwrReg B Logistic C SinRg { THATS ALL FOLKS no 7th Order

B? BECAUSE  7th order are possible if you know what you doing

Hey don't worry, fitting a 7th degree polynomial isn't really something you're likely to ever really need.

I just did it to create that image, as a joke (the Maya thing is not serious). Problem with fitting polynomials of very high order is that they tend to oscillate wildly (unless you use Chebychev polynomials), so instead most people just do a piecewise fitting with 3rd degree polynomials. That's what splines are, basically.

Also, I didn't do it by hand you realize that right? I just told PyLab to do it for me. And it's a numerical approximation, not an exact solution, I don't think you can even do it analytically, above some degree (probably degree 5).

Lemme say AM d'lighted to return to Stella after many (7) Yr
yes i have looked (rarely) but knowing what i have is SAVe disabled : no point
this time My approach has changed ? i'LL call this the UnexT approach ?/?
D'tail when AV .
in the mean time SAy something about write, who here can
write to the low level of their hard drive? or even read what is there? No i
don't know. i do know the area exists, and that it does effect the sYs .

aNYway looking back to my first days i'LL call the the 8080 days Maybe late 60's
i remember well my first purchase. i had been watching the magizines & knew
i wanted one only i did not know which one i wanted to buy. one day i was
in a store and saw 1 with two 16 (4x4) keypads Left & Right | i said to
myself maybe that is it : really i was not sure : so i waited : i realized if
i got it i would be stuck , as i was sure i would learn THAT language .
so as luck would have it i did buy THAT | & i did learn that Language 1st.
I AM very happy to say | &I will say this about THAT nop was op code 00
NOP was not op code 70 or is it 90 {never mind| by the time i got into
INTELese i already knew how stupid this was | 'cause i already knew 00
{never mind | yes and after that i got a ZX81 { British  |4get CODe}
What is the point of this?TainT any
HOWeveR i'll get back to Stella next week, AFTER the laundry is dry etc

6:28 PM BUILDING {p14} MODEL 01
1. Create a stock called "PERSONAL SAVINGS".
2. Create and attach an inflow named "Weekly Allowance".
3. Define the initial value of the stock as 0 (zero).
4. Define the value of the inflow as 10, indicating a weekly allowance of $10.
5. You now have a complete, defined model and are ready to
"run" it to see what happens ./. save a period of time. 3,600,000 Ms
/\/\/\/\/\
there is a lot of reading to do { I AM NOT A READER {{ so its Slow
1st let me say (IMO} MatLab is sequential  1 2 3 | x= 1 y = 2 z=x*y
Stella {imo) is procedual {not sequential | EVEn if THEY look like ^
My guess is Procedure is more like A dance | put your left foot in etc
Sequential is more VERBAL | TEN LITTLE, NINE LITTLE, 8 little ETC
My guess is its two distinct parts of the brain | For the most part
-
THus it took me an hour to do lesson 1 | Stella? being proceedual
takes time. it reminds me of a china man hitting a copper penny
3,600 times to flatten it into a drunking cup | My suggestion
is to get both accounts ODIN | Cramer Neuberger Library Nascc ...
& CESE | FAB | ANY computer science class would get U 1 of those
= =
the higher LeveL crap is all done in the kernals {Unix) Language
and U can do stuff in FAB that is not possible on broadway. Not
that there is any hurry to do anything | it just the 2 are not
alike | & there are times when the other {not ODIN) is required

i did not know | untill i made the file director | that Stella

yea? i did finish 2 {2Hr)| unhappy with the result | y axis scale?
Anyway {imo) St is copy & paste : the issue as i see this | is the data | is
the data true | or is the data giving 1 an expected result || compare CONtrast
with Lab ?|? here {imo} the situation is Parameters ||| is one including the
correct number of parameters ? correctly | My fav is T {time) as its easy
as most calculus sites have http://www.itu.dk/~lmtr/publications/citsa.pdf
the concept documented  http://www.ists.dartmouth.edu/library/129.pdf

that time does not flow Equitably | ESPecially at the Most Primal leval
{call that string theory for now | in smaller & smaller dimeMENTION$

D2 a galaxy OR cluster of 'em D3 solar system D4 electro/proton {Quant?

however: i could not resolve the answer by following directions
as STELLA(81) seamed to me to add to much confusion into the lesson
&i was only able to get THEIR answer by starting from NEW and avoiding
all of the off topic details included in the lesson plan | So yeah moving oN

HISTORY of LUNAR EPHEMERIS MATH
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunar_theory
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/ancient/ancient-computer.html
Recently, hi-tech imaging has revealed the extraordinary truth: this unique clockwork machine was the world's first computer. An array of 30 intricate bronze gear wheels, originally housed in a shoebox-size wooden case, was designed to predict the dates of lunar and solar eclipses, track the Moon's subtle motions through the sky, and calculate the dates of significant events such as the Olympic Games. No device of comparable technological sophistication is known from anywhere in the world for at least another 1,000 years. So who was the genius inventor behind it? And what happened to the advanced astronomical and engineering knowledge of its makers?

The most significant improvement of position observations of the moon have been the lunar laser ranging measurements, obtained using earth-bound lasers and special retro-reflectors placed on the surface of the moon. The time-of-flight of a pulse of laser light to one of the reflectors and back gives a measure of the moon's distance at that time. The first of four reflectors which are still operational today was taken to the moon in the Apollo 11 spacecraft in July 1969 and placed in suitable position on the Moon's surface by Neil Armstrong.[41] The precision of this science is currently being extended still further by the recently-established Apache Point Observatory Lunar Laser-ranging Operation.

will i ever LeaRn ? i doubt it .1 i see no need
for constants {invarients | 4Me it all changes | including time & space
Time is thought not only to change but in fact can reverse itself under
proper conditions, an as for space being continuous? i see no reason to
suspect that rule either, i see no reason why space cannot have holes
in it | & 'poise discontinuity  here there & everywhere actually
So bac2BS BYome stretch of imagination i concluded earth Mass to have

ok
i agree it makes little sence
My main point is the Earth Diameter increased & Earth mass also { a lot
Next point? Moon also increased in mass | some 24e7 Years
currently Moon receeds from Earth |orbital period increases. | at day 1
Moon Launch from Earth the Lunar Rotation was same as Earth, as it
moved away | thus falling behind the Earths rotation, The outbound moon
must hav had near escape velocity to be where it is now.
escape from the Earth; it is 11.3 km/sec or 25,300 mph.
in my theory of the Lunar{from earth Launch) reached an
insert event, resulting in the Moons present parameters   {moving away
thus? A plot {animation | of the formative days should be possible and a table
of lunar distance {from Earth the first 1/3 of a day
distance from Earth to the Moon is 384,400 km  /11.3Km/s = 34000 seconds

would be no Moon today, thank U object 2 {insert.tit | Make ¢ents?

I like it I like it.  By turning figure upside down, if you meant the "0" rotation/reflection, to "lift", I at least was able to get the "decoupling" efxr :lulz:

I'm not sure that the X axis on B is only time.  Just looks like less accurate cycles/second (x100).  That's why I thought it a linear transform (/100) of A's X-axis.  Silly me
I don't remember exactly how the Fast Fourier Transform works (cosines etc), but the accuracy of pitch change would be determined by your sample rate, if I remember correctly, the discrete number of frequencies shown would probably vary in direct proportion to the samples length (in) time (unless the frequency of the chirp remained constant throughout)  ?

yeah? the numbers drift about usuall within a day or two
& plot v PLOT does too. usually one moon | one way or the other
{never mind this is a general over view and it matters not.
Going foward} the idea is to generate the TIDES data
&2 compare TIDE data | with Lunar & Perigee plots {data) so the
dP change in Lunar Range can be factored out its about 40k KM in 400????/
once that data is in matlab ? the try to compare the 40K data
with the dT.tides data.  Thus i should arrive at some GoFee numbers
about fractional days v % 40 kKM | about the length of TIME it takes
for the gravity of the Moon to reach Earth. | i doubt that it is instant .

IN OTHER WORDS?  if you see an animation ..
about the Moon in orbit about the tide covered Earth
over a background of a cobweb background matrix
the general view would be the webs radials
would be a straight line Earth to moon
with the tidal bulge displaced ahead ????/
due to Earths rotational velocity
My view of the animation is not straight.
Those radials would spiral & the spiral would be dynamic
constantly changing with lunar distance
&i should have a true plot B4 any one else | /-/A /-/@ Ha {never MiND

YEAH? WHAT?/? the prelim data strongly suggest to Me
the gravitational lines of force Earth to point A &
point A to Moon is indeed NOT as science suggests
Cartesian | instead in 2D it is 2 polar plots E)A(M  of
Variable length from 6 to 11 dDd's | under the
influence of lunar distance. Plot Pending

0K My protest v the Cartesian coordinateds' spelling check:
Did you mean: cartesian coordinates? of course left out an o
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cartesian_coordinate_system
Yes: dr's that is where SI's went wrong {no doubt in my mind
Look its very true, i do not have it fingered right yet either
the spiral shown about the Moon was wrong for example | dillusion.
let me try the impossible | by looking at the dimeMENTION below quant(U)m
__d4__  clock 2:  electrons orbit proton // electrons spin
***[ PREPOSED TABLE of quantmPHYSICAL UNITS ]********
__d5__  clock 1:  no words would be know about these(orbit//spin)
***[ PREPOSED TABLE of minisqualPHYSICAL UNITS ]*********
HERE in minis space U probably find string theorists
bless their collective knee jerk reactions
as the Earth spins {BENEATH THE MOON) it seams reasonable
to me that the strings in minis space are aligned & stretched to tension
stretched to tension = gravitational force {maybe????/
and it is done in a polar manor not on a cartesians plain
and YoY IS cartesian show as Miss Spelled ¿computer?

Looks like U arrive at PhoBos no matter whiTch way U go
While thinking about the problems | the Question arises | who has TiTLE |
it is not UN | thus by the idea conveyed to me by SEALth {aka Seattle
It belongs to 1 individual ? Russian1 Head of space program2 & 3 =
Sergey Korolyov (also transliterated as Korolev) was the head o
it is possible i arrived at the wrong solution on this 1
however i AM convinced .1 &2: are correct. check with V.P. i guess?

OK the complex problem {Mov.Phobos seams clear enough
first find some math to fit the Question
Mass of phobos {assume F=ma {maybe

My Math Method
consists of copy & paste {& not much more
it does seam to me that capturing Phobos for Fig8
will not happen today OR even tomorrow
as i guess it will take a big breakthrough in theory
^ Never Mind ^
i will try to copy the relevant line from above
Or maybe find a different string elsewhere | getting started is the trick

THAT IT DID HAPPEN ? i have little doubt, where why & how ? i asK U !COM.web
i also want to reflect on the Mayan events themselves. 2Me they had evOlved
a system of mental telepathy, whereby the songs of the Musical culture could
be transferred from Mesa to Mesa over long distances by that means. Telepathy

The majority of individuals could recite{sing Much of the liturgy in that way.
ENOUGH?: so what happened? in my opinion what took place was a period of
time when the Hurricane tract instead of turning North to Mississippi? Went
due West and devastated the area with floods. the remnants{Mud, of which
shirley remain in place, unmentioned in archaeological account to this day.
THE FLOODS GOT THEM. EoR: YES SIR the telepathic brain remains only
not the Mesa to Mesa version Just door stoop to door stoop versions. of
which there are probable many broken remains. the pre Spanish is broken
thus recreating the Glyph to song seams highly improbable, but not the
the shards of the telepathic abilities, some of it may remain? isolated????/
