In fact, tomorrow after therapy I am going to the river, where I will run on the sandy beach, lie in the sun, and immerse myself in the alarmingly radioactive water. I will doubtless feel a million times better tomorrow night than I will tonight, where the game plan is A. eat pork, B. drink beer, and C. smoke cigarettes.

Is there one really good current resource for this?  I've seen a bunch in here but would like to see something crisp, concise and well presented.

Prohint:  I've got some truthers locally, I'm mining for ways to make their heads explode.

I tried once when I first met them but they were actually really good at avoiding all logic and reason and quickly changing the conversation back to insanity.  It's like they are impervious to rational thought.

Best solution is to be productive, as stated.

There are several nuerological tricks you can do to fight this garbage though.

One is verbally/mentally reframing every negative into a positive (synapses that fire together, wire together)

and another I know of is smiling at yourself in the mirror for a full minute straight.

The trouble with techniques like this is that it's hard to remember to use them when you're in a shit mood.

I'm starting to see why these opinions exist with all these bumped threads.

I was kind of on the fence between brutalizing him, pitying him and baiting him, but I'm kind of satisfied that none of these is are a good option.

After TL;DR words from him in my inbox I'm understanding it's not that he doesn't understand that he's self righteous, it's that he doesn't want to understand that he's self righteous.  It's borderline mentally ill, and worse, if left to his own devices he may not ever outgrow it if the people he surrounds himself keep feeding into this kind of BS (and I assume they do or he wouldn't have gotten there to begin with).  :/

I'm kind of torn here.  Realizing that, the joke doesn't even seem funny anymore, but I still have a strong urge to milk the cow anyway.
