Joe Biden has Senior Moment and Drops out of 2020 Presidential Race
QuoteWASHINGTON – Former Vice President Joe Biden, whose calls for a progressive agenda galvanized a few followers, has dropped out of the presidential race, giving Hillary Clinton a clean path to the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.
Bidens' exit comes after a string of victories in the primary election.
The intensifying coronavirus pandemic also meant he could no longer hold the large rallies that came to define his movement, though he often pointed to the problems many Americans had getting tested and treated for the virus as a way to push his signature vaccination for all proposal.
Mr Biden announced his decision via twitter this afternoon and stated he intended to spend more time with his family.

Yup, but not nearly as shitty as that candidate.
I read today that 57% of dems and 67% of all voters prefer Cuomo over Joe Biden for pres in 2020. A clear case of buyer's remorse.
Besides if Joe suddenly dropped out of the race in a senior moment would that surprise anybody?

Not enough to vote when it matters. And we wonder why we keep getting stuck with administrations that either a) can't stop the other party from fucking up the country or b) fuck up the country.
Eight years of a relatively respectable and progressive Obama presidency was still Americans getting fucked in the ass. Then we got Trump, and the lubrication ran out. So now everyone is screaming, "No, no! Please! You can fuck me in the ass, just get the lube again!"

I'd question even how "sweet and nice" Joe Biden is. If you haven't seen his comments about millenials and why he opposes universial healthcare, you should give them a look some time.

The images come from a book called
Miss Nelson is Missing, in which a totally perfect teacher has rowdy students who won't listen to her. The next day, they get the worst substitute in the world: Viola Swamp, an evil harpy who has zero tolerance. Desperate to get their old teacher back, they wind up trailing her around town and wondering why she isn't in class. The book ends with her magically showing back up and the students being happy and docile. The final pages show her at home grading papers with her closet door open, and inside hangs the wardrobe of the substitute.
"Sweet and nice" BELONG in quotes. Nobody questions that Miss Nelson was the "perfect" teacher, but if she was so perfect, why couldn't she figure out how to reach out to those terrible students other than pretending to be a horrible witch? No, it's the STUDENTS who are to blame, and they must be shown that THINGS CAN ALWAYS BE WORSE.
Hogwash. Indoctrination, if you ask me.
In other words, no, Joe Biden is not sweet. He's a malignancy. But obviously he's now the choice between malignancy and just putting a bullet in our heads.
I was okay with Trump winning in 2016, just because I felt everyone would learn a lesson from shit getting fucked up.
Turns out people don't learn lessons. So rather than re-enacting the ending of Return to the Planet of the Apes, I'm going to otherwise silently contribute to ousting the current regime of absolute insanity and work on trying to upset the Status Quo™ when it becomes the status quo again.

Yeah, accelerationism has a pretty dismal track record. People are, if nothing, very good at adapting to the status quo and a new normal.

Adaptation is survival. Revolution represents uncertainty.
To be fair, revolution in a lot of places has turned out to be shit. Most people just want to be able to get up and do "normal" stuff and not care about anyone else outside of their immediate sphere. Plenty of those don't even care that far. Hell, I often don't. Do you?

Voting for Vermin Supreme is a spiritual experience. It has nothing to do with actual voting. In that sense, I voted for Vermin Supreme a long time ago.
You don't do it with a write-in. You do it in your own way. And you've got to figure out what that way is.
Let me put it this way; here's a screenshot of the film I've been working on for the past forever:

I write poems like this and spread them into as many minds as I can, including Vermin's. we don't know each other well, but I have made direct contact through various media and he knows I'm out there doing my thing.
Vermin Supreme
The man!
The Meme!
A boot full of dreams!!
A bit of good medicine
In the consciousness stream.
What I think Vermin Supreme understands is that we're probably never going to have a choice that matters as much as we deserve. Not as long as we continue to play the game.
By God did we play the game this time around. We played it harder than before. Because we're stupid.

Reasons for voting Biden: least worst option left available.
It is the only genuine reason possible and is funny but not haha funny like the rest of the reasons in the thread
I guess maybe it's weird to run on supreme court issues which the president only influences indirectly,
but I'm kinda surprised Biden isn't framing this election as absolutely critical for women's rights, trans rights, separation of church & state, and the death penalty.
I also think it's a big missed-opportunity to not seize on Trump's constitutional violations and frame Biden as rescuing the constitution. There's a lot of right-wing jacking off about the constitution, and that's a crowd that's been uncomfortable with some of Trump's moves. With the right language, one could reactivate their memory of giving-a-shit about these things.
Could be because he doesn't really want to win.
I think he's limiting himself to regular 2D chess
