All of the registered members of the Democratic Party had ample time and opportunity to chose to run for their party's nomination for POTUS themselves, or encourage other members of their political party to run for their party's nomination for POTUS, as well as to nominate an acceptable write-in candidate(s) for their party's nomination for POTUS.
