But please, take responsibility/credit for your own writing.

If you write shit, don't blame pot. If you write brilliant stuff, don't foist the credit off on pot. What you're writing is YOUR WRITING. If you find that pot helps you access the part of yourself that you want to access to write, that's fine. But please don't make this into "lol it was teh potz"

Oh, the woman who hosts the night is a short blonde with huge tits almost always pushed up in a corset.  Her name is Christine, she's a friend of mine, and is nice as hell.  When she's not running around putting out fires, she's in the back bar on the other side of the dance floor.  If you want to meet someone new who knows all the cool people, say hi to her for me.

Also, the bartender back there is Terri.  She looks like an emaciated witch, but she's an incredibly cool person.  Say hi to her for me, too.

I am going to SF in mid August.

My friend who is out in Palo Alto assures me that there are tons of places around SF where you can rent bikes, and there's some really nice paths around the area. I want to snag one and bike out along the coast.

Also I'd suggest checking out yelp.com if you're looking for places to eat and whatnot, as Yelp was founded in SF (I think).

Oh, and I've been told you can get giant penis cookies on sticks in the Castro. DO IT.

The only thing I have to contribute to this thread is the wealth of reward to be reaped from getting your bike properly fitted to you. I'd been having a lot of pain in my quads when riding lately, so I hit the bike shop, chatted with them, and they adjusted my seat (yes, I know I could've done this myself but A) the bike shop dudes are SUPER CUTE and B) they almost never charge me for ANYTHING, so why not go get sexy professionals to do shit for free?). It's now higher.

I can extend my legs fully and I go so fast and my quads don't hurt and it is just a thousand million times more comfortable.

I always get kinda freaked out when I'm passing cyclists who are riding bikes that are not at all fitted to them correctly. They tend to be less stable, moving slowly, and look like they are in great agony.

I haven't figured out if I'm an asshole or a really nice person. When biking past people whose bikes are making noises that they shouldn't, I tend to slow down and toss out, "Hey, you should get your chain oiled," or "your rear tire is a little flat," or "upshift a gear or two and you'll find this is a lot easier!" I just cringe so hard when I see people pedaling like crazy and moving SO SLOWLY because they don't use any gear other than the very lowest. *facepalm*

Bikes are super rad! Anyways, EoC, your area is kinda far from Boston, but if you ever take a haul, Back Bay Bikes, at the corner of Mass and Comm Aves, is full of superbly great people who take really good care of their customers and do not suffer from bike snobbery.

And if I have time to sew 'em up real quick, some arm-warmers made mostly of straps of elastic. I'm hoping this will come out looking okay. We'll see. I've been awfully tired while operating the sewing machine lately.

So, I forgot to mention: We're also playing the Cantab in Cambridge the night after.  Going on about Midnight.  I cannot vouch for the talent of the bands we're playing with, but I hear they're "really gay," which could be completely awesome, or really bad.

My sister and I went into H&M the other day and the clothes were all very Steampunk inspired. It kind of pisses me off, really. 3 years ago I had to go to vintage stores and sew my own shit, now fucktard trendy little bitches can walk into stores and buy this stuff. Hopefully it will just be fleeting though.
