It appears the USCEO is quite confident he has TTSS under control, and has no fear of retribution for the following kind of behavior:

Musk trolls Trump's €500B AI mega plan

"The tech billionaire and close ally of the U.S. president sniped at one of the White House's first major proposals."

As per the article:

"Tech billionaire Elon Musk poured cold water Wednesday on a landmark half-a-trillion dollar artificial intelligence (AI) initiative trumpeted by U.S. President Donald Trump.

His criticism marks an early break between Musk, one of Trump's closest advisers during the presidential transition, and the Republican leader, underscoring the potential for rifts on key policy issues in Trump's broad coalition.

Trump announced Tuesday that several technology giants, including OpenAI, Oracle and MGX, plus Japanese investment company SoftBank, would invest about $500 billion in building data centers in the U.S. over four years. He touted the project, known as Stargate, as "the largest AI infrastructure project by far in history.""

It next remains to be seen where the USCEO sets up office in Washington D.C. That is, will he be relegated to the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, or given space in the West Wing of the White House?

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and state that I don't believe the USCEO did this as an homage to Peter Sellers' performance in Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.

Right-Wing Extremists Are Abuzz Over Musk's Straight-Arm Salute

And, if the USCEO is actually afflicted with alien hand syndrome (AHS), I think someone would have noticed by now.

Quote from: Abbot Mythos on January 13, 2025, 06:43:35 PMThis is one of the reasons, possibly the main reason, why the USCEO has invested so much of his money in TTSS:

"Moon over Mars? Congress is determined to kill Elon Musk's space dream."

"The Trump ally wants the U.S. to forgo the lunar surface for the red planet. He faces one problem: Congress."

As per this article:

"Trump confidant Elon Musk wants NASA to drop its ambitious plans to return to the moon and instead head straight to Mars. Congress is ready to put up a fight.

Republican and Democratic lawmakers, who control NASA's purse strings, want Americans to return to the lunar surface in 2027 — and they're not willing to abandon that mission despite Musk's obsession with skipping the moon for Mars."

Here's the link:   Moon or Mars? The USCEO Wants Mars

So, we may soon see how well the USCEO's investment in TTSS has paid off so far.

It's America's 'Manifest Destiny' to plant a flag on Mars, Trump says

Now, that part didn't take long at all, did it, boys and girls? And, of course, there's still a lot more to be done after merely making a very public Inauguration Day announcement. So, stay tuned.

Oh, and before I forget, you might also want to remember to FOLLOW THE MONEY, 'cause that's what TTSS has been known to do.

Drama Queen Greene is, of course, at it again:

Marjorie Taylor Greene: Dems want to 'line us up in front of a firing squad and kill us'

Now, in my state there are four (4) officially recognized political parties, as follows:

1. Democratic
2. Green
3. Libertarian
4. Republican

Or, one can register to vote as having "No Affiliation."

For what it's worth, the only real down side to being registered as having "No Affiliation" in my state is that one can not vote in any of four (4) officially recognized political party primary elections. But, on the other hand, my state holds our political party primaries so late in an election year that the candidates for President and Vice President have already been long decided by the other states. Further, there is a real upside to being registered as having "No Affiliation," as Mrs. Mythos learned after donating money to Hillary Clinton's Presidential Campaign. The number of landline phone calls we received seeking additional donations to Clinton, and just about every other Democratic candidate for office within a hundred miles of our home, quickly crossed the line from political advocacy to outright harassment. (Mrs. Mythos finally dropped her affiliation with the Democratic Party, simply to reduce the high volume of nuisance phone calls we receive daily.)

Anyway, if I myself were affiliated with the Democratic Party, I would be highly offended by Drama Queen Greene's wildly inaccurate statement. For, I'm certain her claim applies to members of other officially recognized political parties, as well as to voters with "No Affiliation."

This should to be interesting:

Elon Musk's 'Doge' expected to be sued moments after Trump's swearing-in

"Lawsuit will challenge legality of 'department of government efficiency', by alleging it violates federal rules"

As per this article:

Elon Musk's "department of government efficiency" (Doge) program is expected to be sued within minutes of Donald Trump being sworn in.

The 30-page lawsuit, obtained by The Washington Post, challenges the legality of the government advisory committee Donald Trump claims he'll create, by alleging it violates federal transparency rules on disclosure, hiring and other practices.

The public interest law firm National Security Counselors says in the claim that Musk's efficiency panel meets the bar to be considered a "federal advisory committee" but fails to have "fairly balanced" representation, keep records of its meetings and be open to public scrutiny, as required by law."

No doubt the John Roberts Kangaroo Kourt will bend over backwards in their attempt to legitimize the USCEO's DOGE. So, for right now, we can all sit back and watch their contortions for their entertainment value.

Still, I think the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) should be renamed to something like the "Department of Oligarch's Dodging Taxes" (DOODT). And, perhaps, with a little more effort I can come up with another name and acronym that is truly, unmistakably derogatory.

Taken at face value, this announcement didn't appear to me to be all that interesting:

Research News Brief: sketching E.T. with the fundamental logic of life

And, the long, formal paper being announced is likely going to attract the attention of only the hardcore life sciences types:

Fundamental constraints to the logic of living systems

But, this research paper did catch the attention of Sabine Hossenfelder, and I found her insights to be quite interesting, as follows:

"New Study Finds Alien Life Must Be Similar To Us"

Still, I have to admit that learning alien life must be similar to us is a bit depressing. After all, I have met "Us."

Quote from: Pergamos on January 17, 2025, 06:54:00 PM12 is a one and a two, when you add those together you get three, and if you add one two to three you get five.  It's not even a convoluted enough line to five to be all that meaningful.

Well ... I admit, that line of reasoning will allow me to stay with a twelve (12) program, and still claim to be a Discordian Fundamentalist. So, one of the oldest of the Erisian Mysterees really does work in mysterious ways.

Thanks!

I find the timing of this official Statement and Release to be both interesting and provocative:

Statement from President Joe Biden on the Equal Rights Amendment

I will be amazed if there is no significant pushback from the MAGAt States of 'Merica on the validity of the 28th Amendment. Still, if the opposition from the usual suspects doesn't ultimately serve to fire up and organize the Resistance 2.0, it is likely that nothing will.

Quote from: Abbot Mythos on November 09, 2024, 04:48:16 PM6. Felony arrests and convictions of a "macho man imaged" candidate mean "street cred" to macho 'Merican men.

I may have to edit this line item a bit, in light of new information.

Trump team brags new presidential portraits "go hard"

As per this article:

"President-elect Trump sported a familiar stone-faced stare in his official portrait revealed just days before he makes his White House return.

The intrigue: The nontraditional portrait is starkly different from his first term pose, where he grins under even lighting. Instead, with the up-shot glow, a raised eyebrow and a tight-lipped mouth, it's reminiscent of another photo: his historic mug shot."

The above article does confirm that TTSS has been more than happy to publicize his "historic mug shot" to promote his "macho man image" for "street cred," and, of course, monetization. But, on the other hand, he hasn't taken the felony convictions part of our criminal justice system's right of passage very well.

Now that I've thought about it, I may have to polish up all twelve (12) of my line items, prior to the next election. And, after all, twelve (12) line items does violate the Discordian Law of Fives, as revealed by Episkopos Lord Omar Khayyam Ravenhurst, KSC. Further, it's in the realm of possibility that reducing my list to ten (10) line items just might make it more attractive to some of those politically active heathens with their own Ten (10) Commandments list. Hey, it could happen.

Here's an example of The Republicult's ™ elected officials scoring a "twofer." They're both purposely blocking the vote of a female member of the loyal opposition party, and virtue signaling the macho 'Merican men's version of the 'Merican Dream:

Pregnant Congresswoman Blasts 'Unreasonable' House Voting Rules

As per this article:

"Colorado Representative Brittany Petterson, who is unable to fly to Washington, D.C., for a vote due to her pregnancy, called the House of Representatives' unwillingness to let her vote remotely "unreasonable.""

I have no reason to believe that macho 'Merican men's attitudes are going to change prior to the 2028 presidential election.
